We purchased a 1995 Ferrari 348 Spider from White Horse Leisure, Inc through it's owner Ed Hutchinson.
This Ferrari was represented to us as a "perfect example" in excellent condition.

Being we were both professionals in the industry, we took him at his word.

We than found out that this vehicle had been sent to the wholesale dealer's auction where it was represented by a wholesaler and was not sold.

As we do with each vehicle we purchase we had the Ferrari inspected by an independent facility.
The car that was represented to us as being "perfect and pristine" had paint work done, needed a full set of tires and was in need of a clutch. All of these facts had been kept from us and we in good conscience had to notify any interested buyer of these deficiencies in this "perfect" Ferrari.

Now I ask you, who is the rip-off artist?
We sold his much less than perfect Ferrari that was misrepresented to us at no profit and considerable aggravation to everyone concerned. We told our buyer (when we finally got one), ALL of the flaws and imperfections of this vehicle, as any reputable dealer would do to any customer and especially any Ferrari buyer who insists on exact condition and true service records.

He was paid in full for this vehicle from us and we did what we had to do to satisfy a customer.

I hope he represents the 250 (I would love to see the REAL inventory count), RVs that he claims to stock much more truthfully than the Ferrari that they purchased at Auction and planned to unload to an unsuspecting buyer.
As he states on his web site "Here's to your many happy adventures." Doing business with them sure was an adventure and not a happy one.

Done in retaliation for my report on Auto Toy Store

AUTHOR: Rvdealer - ()

This report was done against me in 2008 in retaliation after I reported a used car dealership called Auto Toy Store in West Berlin NJ, who is now deservedly out of business. They sold my car on consignment as well as sellers, & didn't tell us so that they could use our money to keep their doors open a little longer. After driving past & not seeing my car there, I went in to inquire & was initially told that it was at the detail shop. When pressed for which one,the sales manager, Herb Fishman changed his story to say that it had been hit & at the body shop. Again, I pressed him for which one. That is when they came clean & told me that they had sold the car & was using my money to keep their business afloat. They said that nobody was there to sign a check but the owner, Al  would be back in a few hours, so a friend & I went back to get either the check , my car, or the police. That is when I finally got paid for the car. As to their mention of the condition of the car, they never said a word about condition when I dropped it off & they inspected it & met with their approval. At one point, they called to say that while on a test drive, a potential buyer felt that the clutch was slipping. I made arrangements with their local repair shop to put a new clutch in.  I had to pay that shop directly as the repair shop had Auto Toy Store on credit hold & would not perform any more work for them without payment in advance. I should have taken this as a warning sign.

Auto Toy Store is the Ultimate Rip Off

AUTHOR: Rvdealer - (U.S.A.)

I took a 1995 Ferrari to Auto Toy Store for them to sell on consignment after I had a friend take it to a dealers auction & didn't meet my reserve. After looking the car over & test driving it, Herb recommended an asking price of $54,900, netting me $50,000. Two immediate questions arise in my mind about their report on me. If they actually bought the car from me, why would they if it was such a bad car & they are supposed to be the experts? If they didn't make any money on the deal, why wouldn't they just not do the deal & give me the car back? I never represented the car as pristine, perfect, or any other claims. Being in a similar business, I know that there is no such thing in any 13 year old vehicle. Within a week Herb called to say that the car needed a clutch. I made arrangements to have it replaced. Before the work was completed, he called with an offer of $45,000 without the clutch. I counter offered at $45,500 to which he agreed. After a week, I called to see what happened. I was told that the buyer was thinking about it. I had driven past & not seen the car there & asked Herb where it was. He told me that he had sent it to the detail shop. The following week, my son stopped there & was told again, it was at the detail shop. I went the next day & wanted to know where my car was. Herb said that he didn't know what detail shop it was at. When pressed further, he changed his story to say that it had been hit on the lot & was at a body shop. Again, I wanted to know where. At that point, I stated that i want the car, the money or the POLICE. Herb went into a differnt office to speak to Gary. Gary then came out to me to explain that the fact of the matter is that "we sold your car, we are very tight for money and was floating the business with your money".The owner would be at the dealership within an hour to give me a check. Can you believe that they had the nerve to ask me to hold the check for a few days? I never was told the actual date that the car was sold, or the amount that they sold it for. While I am not a lawyer, I suppose that if they were subpoena'd they would have to divulge that information along with the purchaser's name & address. Suffice it to say that I have no problem putting my reputation stratusphere's above their's.Many people that I have spoken to since my experience, have told me of similar situations from Auto Toy Store & their poor reputation locally. Unfrtunately, they prey on people out of the area with a large internet presence & one time sales instead of treating customers properly & enjoying repeat business. Unfortunately, I was not aware of their reputation, business practices or financial condition prior to choosing them to sell my car. Though I recommend strongly against doing business with this establishment, should you choose to ignore my warning, make sure that you have title in hand when exchanging money.
