Ed Morse Honda Ed Morse Training Scam Riviera Beach Florida

Show customers why they should trust your business over your competitors...

Recently, my husaband went to inquire about an employment opportunity at Ed Morse Honda. Immediately, the company was interested in interviewing him for car sales. When he went to his inerview that monday they told him they have to do a background check, but he should come back wednesday to begin training. He was told that they could have on the payroll as early as Friday and were very vague with the information given. Fat talking and quickly moving the applicants through the door.

Upon arriving at the training seminar, the room was filled with twelve people. Some of which did not effecitively speak english. They were informed that there would be a base pay of 400-500 dollars weekly with the commission paid from vehicle sales. After staying in training for 6 hours, each person was called into the office to know if they would be able to continue on in the training process.

My husband being one of them went back the next day. Everyone that was in the class before was there. They were told to bring a change of clothes because they were going to scout at other car lots to scope out the competition and come back with their reports. Doesn't sound out of the ordinary so far, EXCEPT they were NOT being paid for this training. Training held 6 hours a day thus far.

They were told when they came back from their scouting that they would have to provide 100 dollars to continue with training. They were still in the process of running the background checks and they would have to pay the 100 dollars to be considered for a call back that saturday. There is no guarantee that they would be called or have their money returned to them if they were not called.

Also, everyone was told that they were paying this fee for their extensive training for Honda vehicles. After being told this they were not going to be paid for any additional training they needed. They were not given any paper work to fill out or drug tested either.

My question is, why would you have to pay someone to train you and then you wont get paid for an additional two weeks while the trainee goes to other car lots to phish for their selling techniques? What a RIP OFF!
