I have been shopping online for vehicles. I found a vehicle that I was very interested in under the website of Ed Voyles Hyundai in Marietta. GA. It was a 2011 Infiniti FX 35. The website sale price was $3,491.  On Dec. 5,2012 I called the dealership about this vehicle only to be told that the company that updates their website made an error on the price. I told the salesman that I wanted the vehicle for the price that it was listed for on their website only to be turned down.  He informed me that the correct price was $34,914 and that he had called the outside company that updates his website that morning to tell them to correct the price.

On Dec 6, 2012 the vehicle was still listed for $3,491 and I called another Ed Voyles location about the price of the vehicle, I was told again that price was an error but again the website hadn't been corrected.  I also sent an email to the General Manager of the dealership I had just called about the whole issue. 

The general Manager of the Hyundai called and left me a voice mail message stating that the vehicle was sold day before for the $34,914 that the website was now corrected.  I had at that point caught them in a lie cause just hours earlier the salesman asked if I wanted to schedule a test drive and in those 2 days the vehicle was still on the lot.  At this point I knew that this dealership is baiting and switching on their interner sales. Of  course the salesman wanted my contact information so he could call me back and put me in his data base to continue to call me.

So don't trust the prices you see online from this dealership it looks as if they mark vehicles prices very low to get your information and get you into dealership but they will not honor the prices that they post online.

If the  outside company that post the prices makes this many errors I personally would change companies.  I didn't appreciate the used car general manager rude voice mail message and lying to me about the vehicle being gone. That tells me that they messed up and didn't want to have to honor the price so they lied about the vehicle being there.

  While I usually have no trouble believing tales of car sales tricks, this one doesn't pass the smell test.    Did you honestly believe that they were selling a nearly new Infinity for under $3500??  This was obviously an error on the website.   In order for bait and switch to work, you have to dangle some plausable bait.    That car at that price is not plausable. 

"  That tells me that they messed up and didn't want to have to honor the price so they lied about the vehicle being there.  "

   They wouldn't have to honor a price that was obviously in error.   You strike me as an opportunist that tried to capitalize on an obvious posting error (and not very brightly).   I find it amusing that you expended so much effort trying to be as slimy as the car salesmen usually are.
