Edgar Mejia Jino's Tile Substandard Tile Work Annandale Virginia

We hired Edgar Mejia approximately 6 weeks ago to install over 500 square feet of tile in our kitchen and sun room.  To his credit, he did show up pretty much when he said he would and finished on time.

The problem is now showing itself just a few weeks later.  The tile job ends at carpeting.  Instead of installing a "transition" which gives a clean line from the tile to the carpet, he simply grouted that junction.  Now the entire joint is falling apart with grout chuncks falling out.  When we called Mr. Mejia his response was that he would caulk the joint and then we could hire someone to install a tile transisiton when down the road we replace the carpet. 

Of course, most carpet installers just do that, so we would have to contract with a company to send out 2 different crews.  If he had done a proper job of installation in the first place, it would have taken about 30 more minutes of his time. 

Additionally, he did a horrible job of installing the shoe molding and there are large gaps to the point we will have to have most of it replaced by a professional.

This is not a company I would ever use again.
