Edge Homes Sold our lot out from us. Spanish Fork, Utah

    First off, Edge is awful at getting back to you about any info you request. We had several questions about lots and floor plans and when we asked, the guy at the office or his superiors seemed to drag their feet when it came to getting back to us, or our realestate agent. 

     We decided on one of two lots that we liked and talked with the guy at the office at the adress I gave. So after a run around Edge contacts our realtor and informs her that they don't actually own the lot and that other parties are interested, and that in order to get it we needed to make an offer ASAP. We put the offer in with earnest money. Two days later when they were supposed to get back to us on our offer, they contacted us back and told us they sold the lot out from under us but counter offered the other less desirable lot which by then we decided wouldn't work for us.

They also wanted to charge us more than what they initially told us they could build the house for. The Edge is poor at communicating with potential customers, and has a hard time giving straight answers about things like who owns the lot, and construction costs. I would not recommend going through the hassle of working with this company.
