on feb 1 2011 i attempted to order a faucet through efaucets. i chose the faucet i wanted and proceeded to checkout. after entering my information a page error displayed, indicating that there was a probem with the server and to try again later. i subsequently tried four more times over the next few hours. there was never any indication of any transaction going through. a short time later i received an email from buysafe confirming a 5 dollar charge. in my order i chose the buysafe protection for the extra 5 dollars. i called efaucets to find out what was going on, and was told by the customer service rep that they had no record of any transaction. the customer service rep was rude and inconsiderate and hung up on me. after this treatment i indicated to them that i never received confirmation of any transaction so why was i being billed by buysafe. they assured me that no transaction was showing on their computers. i stressed to them that i was wholely unsatisfied with their company and told them to make sure no transaction went through, that i would take my business elsewhere. which i did. a week later i was checking my bill statements and noticed that there was a new charge billed that day. not just one charge, but the same charge 5 times. the charges they assured me were nowhere in their computers. it seems each time i tried to checkout i received a web page error, the charges somehow did go through. the item in question was a $177.49 deltas faucet. customer service at efaucets knowingly lied to me about the purchase not going through. i called them to recitfy the situation and was rudely dismissed by the representative. she would push buttons on the phone when i tried to speak and ultimately hung up on me. i took up the complaint with bill me later, who inquired with the same supervisor at efaucets that i spoke to. the bill me later rep called me back and confirmed the rude treatment and agreed that i was being lied to. the bill me later rep told me that they would take care of it. i am extremely displeased with my dealings with efauceets. to try and bill me for nearly $1000 then tell me they didnt is the most unethical of business practices there is. efaucets had every resource to rectify the situation with a few mere keystrokes. instead i was treated rudely and lied to. efaucets and their employees had no desire to honor any customer service code.  i spent the better part of a day on hold and going back and forth doing the job the efaucets rep should have done and it would have taken her a few minutes. still i havent receive my money back and no call back from efaucets before i ended my last conversation with efaucets the rep asked me for my phone number in order (so she said) for them to call me back but in fact what happen, every time i call now the call can not go through and i can not contact them any more. i will heartedly recommend to anyone and everyone to avoid efaucets and its affliates.
