EHarmony dishonest and will not refund ripoff Pasadena California

After getting incorrect responses to every Customer Service (CS) request I requested a refund and was refused. Not only were the CS responses a canned response to each incident, they contradicted each other in follow emails. They do not read the question in the help request and send the same boiler plate response to any question. Sometimes multiple times in the same email train.

When I replied to their email I would have one CS agent say one thing and the next reply saying the exact opposite. I never did get my complaint adequately addressed. So I tried to call CS and was told that I must write (and only write using snail mail) Louise.

Well, I did write that letter and got what looks like another canned letter. blah, blah, blah, 7-day Risk Free Trial, blah, blah, 7-day. Not once did she mention ever reviewing the activity in my account. They obviously are prepared to dodge any valid request for a refund.

I concur completely with other posts in the Rip-off Report. This company is misleading and don't believe anything regarding their refund. First of all it is a "Bait and Switch" others allude. You spend a long time filling out their report and then find you cannot correspond to your "matches" without paying.

Any normal person would assume these "matches" are legitimate but they really are not valid matches as they cannot (like myself until I paid) and do not respond. I'm sorry this is not a match. It may be a name but any ethical person/company would not call it a match. Just like work details in the military - we have a name and a job. Perfect match.

Wrong!!! And in no way can you get a honest 7 day trial. They have that rigged too. Even if you got on every day you could not get through their question/answer sequence in that time. These are some slick operators and obviously dishonest from the very start.

I cringe every time I see their ads and I cannot believe the founder, as a reported Psychology Doctor, would allow these practices. But then, when they deny you access to a CS person that will address the problem, I guess it is clear what kind of company it is. I'd love to see what Dr. Warren would say to the lies I've recieved in my email from eHarmony.

Any reputable company has a honest refund policy and when a valid request is made it should be honored. It probably took me 2 months to see how dishonest eHarmony was but by then they had charged my credit card for a whole year of service. And now they refuse a refund. We got your money now go away.

Because they were dishonest I expect a full refund.

Others, please avoid this company. They are dishonest and uncaring. I have the emails to prove it and if eHarmony reads them they will know what I'm talking about.
