Eileen Mathis Sewage Water in a Basement for Lease as Well as NO Wheelchair Accessability Winter Park , Florida

I signed a lease with Dan Bellows of Sydgan Corp in Winter Park at 425 West New England Avenue, #100 in the basement of this building and gave him $1917 for the month of August.   I expressed my concern with the exposed plumbing and possible leaking and was told they had NEVER had any problems.  I was also told that they had an elevator for my elderly clients since it is down many steps.    After I signed the lease I was told the elevator wasn't really a working elevator which is a problem I would think for compliance with the ADA. 
 
One week later before I moved in, my contractor and I walked into the basement space to find 6 inches of sewer water on the floor.   I called the property manager and they sent their local maintenance guy to look into what was going on.   They determined after 30 minutes that it was a sewer back-up from three blocks and buildings over.    I was assured that the mess would be cleaned up before the end of the day.   They called me to say it was taken care of.   I walked in the next day late in the afternoon and it again was full of water now with the blowers blowing the sewer water into the drywall for at least 24 hours.    I can not run a salon in such conditions.   I have to have the states approval were I can conduct business.  On top of the fact that I cannot have my team or clients working in conditions were there is mold in the drywall. 
 
I called to say I would NOT be moving in and wanted out of the lease and my money back.   I was told that they would let me out of the lease and get my money back.  When I called the next day to schedule a meeting to sign this paperwork and give them the keys back I was told they would let me out of the lease but I wouldn't get my money back.   To date I have not received paperwork to let me out of the lease or my money back.
