El Dorado Resorts Corporation Grandview @ Las Vegas Deceptive, Unethical, Corrupt Las Vegas, Florida

My husband and I decided to participate in a timeshare presentation in order to get free tickets to a show. Everyone knows the deal when agreeing to be part of a presentation but NEVER did I think human beings could behave in such a way for money.

Here are the lies and deceptions: 1) They would need 2-3 hours of our time - It took 5 hours; from 9am till 2pm. I discussed the time it would take with no less than 3 staff members BEFORE I left for the presentation and all 3 of them convinced me the most would be 3 hours. 2) There would not be any pressure and we could just say we weren't interested.

By 12 pm we finally were told how much it would cost us and they pressured us until 1:30pm to buy. 3) We could leave whenever we wanted.

We could not leave when we were ready and requested at 12pm. They stalled us saying there were too many people in line, they were getting our tickets ready, etc.

4) They paid the shuttle driver $400 to bring us there - The shuttle driver said he "wished" they paid him that much money for driving us there.

When they figured out we were not going to say yes, they brought my husband and I to another room where they wanted to offer us another deal! By this time, I was so angry I would not sit down. The man told that the cameras were watching us and I needed to sit down. He also told us that whatever the hotel told us to get us there may have been deceptive but it had nothing to do with them. When my husband told him all the deception he said thats unfortunate and he would let the managers know.

I will not stop here. I am reporting them to the Better Business Bureau, the Federal Trade Commission, and the Nevada State Attorney. If you experienced the same deception you should do the same.
