Electronic Marketing Service High Pressure Sales, ripoff, scam, buyer beware, do your research Orem Utah

I received a telephone call from Electronic Marketing Service (EMS) 3 months after purchasing my six websites from Stores Online, and after an extensive interview (high pressure sales tactics), they "accepted" me to their six-month mentoring program for a fee of $14,175. When my husband found out, he immediately did research on both Stores Online and EMS. They both have unfavorable ratings with the Better Business Bureau, with a long list of complaints. We decided that $14,175 was too much to pay for the EMS coaching program, besides, I was doing all the work anyway. I do recall when signing up that they were going to do most of the work for me. Now that I ask for a refund, they tell me that it's a "coacing" program, and I will be doing all the work. Well, if I'm going to be doing all the work anyway, that's an aweful lot of money to have someone look over my shoulder and talk with on the phone for 30 minutes a week. Granted, they had a programmer to create my first website for me after I gathered all the information, but after finding out about Stores Online's shady reputation, we decided it was best to just try and get our money back from both companies. I emailed and phoned EMS several times today, and finally was able to speak with someone who I thought was able to make a decision as to refunding my money. Instead, the gentleman I spoke with kept trying to change my mind, still telling me that Stores Online was the best, and what both companies charge is competitive, and where did I do my research. After stopping him several times during the conversation to reiterate that I wanted my money back, he said they were not able to refund my money. Their policy is "we work with you for six months, and if you're not satisfied, we'll work with you for another six months". They have no refund or cancellation policy, and I did not physically sign a contract. If nothing else, I have definately learned my lesson.
