Elevate , Go Elevate SCAM-FRAUD- Awful customer service. Sold security system but was never setup with monitoring service San Clemente, Austin, Dallas Nationwide

Please avoid signing up with elevate (the security, broadband, wireless, dish, company).  We were sold a security system by some slick sales guy (Alex) that came to our door one evening. The system sounds good, we were told we could get auto lock doors, control our thermostats with our mobile phone, have glass break sensors etc. The pitch is that we were a "selected advertising home" so we were going to get all equipment for free and all we would be charged is the monitoring. We signed up and gave them a check. We mainly wanted the controllable thermostats and keyless door lock for front, but when the installer (Dennis) came we were told our hvac system wasn't compatible with their thermostats (not that he even had one to give us at the time). I told him not to install the system unless they could make it work with our system because it would be a deal breaker if we couldn't control the thermostats.  He called corporate and they said "yes, no problem, we will just order them one that works for their system", so he continued with the install. (that was 8/23/13).  

I allowed a few days to go by but the I started calling their number from the website as well as the installer and sales rep. All the numbers either go straight to a full voicemail box or if you call the corporate number you are given the option to press "1" to get a call back, which after trying 4-5 times over 2 days doesn't work at all. I was leaving messages and waiting on hold for 20-30 mins until giving up with no luck. I soon realized this company was a joke!! I would finally get in touch with someone from the company and they would say "sorry, blah blah blah" They would say that their VP of opersations (Daniel P) was out but is who makes the decisions. I have called so many people without getting anything accomplished. They finally sent an HVAC specialist (who didn't work for elevate) who found our system would cost $1200 to make compatible with our system) and elevate decided that was too much so they gave us the option of other items like cameras instead of the thermostats or having it uninstalled. I chose to uninstall since I was already so unhappy with this company and couldn't imagine ever working with them again. We have been trying to get system uninstalled ever since (today is 9/24/13).  

What makes things worse is that when I called the monitoring service "Monotronics" I found out that they had never heard of us and we weren't ever in their system and we never being monitored!!  That means we could have been robbed at anytime and no alert would have been made to Police. I have asked many people at company about this and still can't get a straight answer. SCAM!!

Finally had someone come out to uninstall without an appointment but only after missing 2 other appointments without any notice. But After reading some other nightmare cases I told them I wouldn't return their equipment until I received 1) a refund 2) some signed paper work releasing us from any contract including one with moniroting service 3) a reason why we were never in Monotronics system being monitored.  I was told I would be emailed all this stuff, but have yet t osee any of it. 

Here is a list of people I have spoken with without any resolve of these issues after a full month- Amanda, Alex, Joe P, Lesley, Morgan, Melanie, Stephanie, Daniel Paletz (haven't actually spoken with her since she doesn't respond to calls. Her voicemail is full, probably of people complaining. Her VM sounds like a 15years olds. Some of these names might even be BS as I think they got sick of being called out for their pathetic service. 

I have found out that this company sells these systems to customers and then sells the contracts to larger companies like iAlarm, ADT, and Monotronics for a healthy amount.  Once they get the contract they stop anwering phones, text messages and emails. STAY far far away from these scammers!! Check the BBB.
