We can use this space to describe the months of research, legal professionals, BBB reports, lawyers, accrediting agencies and other people or officials we have contacted to recover what was once important estate valuables we entrusted to sole proprietor Mr. Morgan--and which were either legitimately lost or sold without approval for higher gain.

In the interest of time, however, let us get to the point: If you plan on hiring the services of the aforementioned Mr. Morgan or any of his numerous business names (now in Texas and previously split between Vermont and New Hampshire), you would do your self a great service to a) reconsider, b) spend an enormous amount of time researching Mr. Morgan's business and his contacts, c) reconsider, or d) reconsider. If none of those options work for you, and you feel you absolutely NEED to consult Mr. Morgan, then as a last result you should "strongly" reconsider.

Although to our knowledge Mr. Morgan has avoided criminal or civil prosecution (with the help of his "good buddy" network), he does have a pretty thick file of documents outlining questionable acts related to his jewelry business. Those documents, however, are in the hands of state officials who cannot easily navigate Mr. Morgan's clever web of cross-state addresses. Sadly, we learned that (and other things) too late after suffering from just one of those acts.

The bottom line here, again, is this: The jewelry businesses run by Mr. Morgan appear either illegal or just downright irresponsible. If you do business with him, you may likely need to choose which word to use when your valuables go missing.

If you choose to ignore this warning, we can only wish you luck. Take comprehensive pictures of your valuables, get them pre-appraised, insure them, and then, if and ONLY if you MUST use this business, risk only those items you have no sentimental, familial, or historical connection with. You may be able to recover a portion of your valuables' worth, but not the items themselves.

Do your homework--Elisha Morgan is now Ralph Morgan

AUTHOR: Snakeyell - (U.S.A.)

POSTED: Friday, October 15, 2010

In response to Mr. Morgan, I have created a "snakeyell" profile so as not to be harassed by a former Navy Seal-turned-Blackwater contractor who has demonstrated questionable judgment with regard to morality.

Mr. Morgan may very well be a capable gemologist, but that in itself does not make an honest businessman. Thus, before doing business with Mr. Morgan, I recommend you ask yourself a number of questions, including:

Why would an accredited gemologist with a self-proclaimed "solid" reputation change his name (from Elisha to Ralph)? Perhaps it has to do with his ties to Blackwater (which itself changed names to Xe Services LLC). Or, perhaps that's just a convenient way to create a new path for search engines, which previously led background researchers to a history of complaints, both formal and informal. And why would an honest gemologist need a criminal defense lawyer?

And...Why would "the gemologist formerly known as Elisha" register his business with a P.O. Box in New Hampshire, operate in Vermont, move to Texas, and so on? The man has to be mobile, for sure, but could it be, as I learned, that it's much, much harder to organize legal authorities to prosecute across state lines?

Old European and mine cut diamonds and other precious stones may not have the appraisal price you want, unless you find a specialist who understands their sentimental and historical value. Modern cutting techniques are much better than they were 100 years ago. That's why I took a BIG risk and chose to do business with Mr. Morgan.

I lost--and so have a few others whose stories I've heard since. Frankly, I never received an adequate explanation of what happened exactly to items Mr. Morgan simply declared as lost. Rather, I received a phone number for a criminal defense attorney.

So...As with any venture of this kind, do your due diligence. If you don't, you might just blink and find your prized antique/heirloom/family jewelry has disappeared.

"Snakeyell's" complaint is without merit. Issues mentioned have either been resolved or did not exist. Our search to determine who "Snakeyell" is or if there is in fact a "Snakeyell" has turned up nothing.
