Elite Roofing based in Chandler, AZ will address this complaint and the rebuttals associated with the complaint as follows:

Accusation Rebuttal

Elite Roofing & Construction/MARS is accused of hassling a person in Austin, Texas to perform a roofing project which this person claims they then wrote a check to Elite Roofing & Construction/MARS for $1500.00 which Elite Roofing Construction/MARS cashed and never completed the work. This person claims they cannot read the last name on the agreement and has filed complaints with the B.B.B., Attorney Generals Office in Texas and sent certified letters to Elite Roofing & Construction P.O. Box. as well as making many phone calls.

Elite Roofing Arizona Response To Allegation

Elite Roofing has never operated, estimated or performed any projects in Austin, Texas or the state of Texas or any other state in the union other than Arizona. I Mark Thomas owner of Elite Roofing have never been to Austin, Texas in my life. I Mark Thomas nor my company, family, or employees have never heard of Elite Roof & Construction/MARS Construction and we are not affiliated with that company its owners or employees in anyway form. I Mark Thomas nor my company Elite Roofing has ever received a phone call, a letter, email from anyone regarding this matter or any other complaint for that matter. Elite Roofing is licensed as a roofing contractor in the State of Arizona and has been for the last 14 years. Elite Roofing has never had one complaint against our contractor's license, the B.B.B. nor for that matter never had a complaint of any kind from any client, consumer or employee.

The person posting this complaint has obviously filed complaints against this person and that company in Texas as has 2 other people who have posted on this complaint. It is obvious the only reason Elite Roofing, Arizona is involved in this on this site is that a person from Arizona we provided an estimate for decided to post our information here without reading the facts of the people's complaints first. This person in Arizona that posted our information on this site slandered Elite Roofing Arizona as well as me personally by recklessly posting our information here.

Good Samaritan Rebuttal

We are unsure who you are and unsure why you would so eagerly throw this company into a dispute we have nothing to do with. Why you would post our company onto a blog and portray us as if we are some type of criminal running around the country taking checks and disappearing. You posted our company information on this site and not one person contacted us regarding this matter for the obvious reason that the persons who were ripped off know that Elite Roofing Arizona had nothing to do with this as reflected in there complaint on this blog. I would hope you respond to us directly, not hide behind your computer screen, and explain why you decided recklessly to attempt to damage this company's reputation as well as my personal reputation by placing us in the middle of a dispute we have nothing to do with. You owe this company an apology as well as me personally. I recently found out about this report and will be meeting with my attorney to discuss options with regard to you slandering this company and defaming my character as well as putting a financial figure to the amount of revenue this company may have lost due to your accusations. It is obvious in the original complaint and other rebuttals we are not the company. We are not in Texas we do not have the exact same business names and we have no complaints against our firm, but you decided to throw us into this and I am unsure why and we deserve an explanation and a public apology at minimum. I would hope in the future that you check your facts prior to assaulting business and personal reputations anonymously.

Hello, Sorry to hear more of the same stories. I lived in Austin Texas and was taken by Mark Ritacco too. After many excuses he just never showed up to do the roof job. Pushed a closing on my home back and of course cost me extra money. I got an attorney and we filed a formal complaint to him and he did pay back about half of the 1350 I paid him but since has stopped returning calls. This low life has his primary home address as his moms apartment of south lamar. (((ROR REDACTED))). Her name is Naomi, I went there a few times and he was not there. I hated to bother his mom but I like the rest of the decent people out there did not want to see my money stolen. I know his active phone number is 512-284-5449, The other numbers I have are from the Better business bureau website and they are 512-845-5193 and 512-801-8303, some of companies this guy has worked under also state a guy by the name of Jason Weber. I hope this helps and I will do anything else I can to bust this creep. looser.

AGAIN.. PLS LET ME KNOW (POST A COMMENT) WHAT HAPPENS..

I was advised by the city to contact the local police department which is Austin Police Department to file a charges against him. It will save you money of getting a lawyer but you can still have a judge order him to complete the work or return the money.

I used this company in the past as well and I am currently pressing charges against him if you would like to contact me to compare notes we could have a class action lawsuit...

Get a copy of the check so you know his bank account. Go to the bank and verify that he cashed the check, and they will give you his name or company. Then you track him down. If he doesn't return your deposit, take him to small claims court.
