Elks Lodge #2121 Bingo Rules Not followed by the lodge Fremont California

 Elks Lodge #2121 Fremont California. On June 16th, 2016 I attended a bingo session Like I always do each Thursday night. Been going for several years. I do play bingo very often and at many places. Never experienced this situation especially from this place. My number one favorite place. Everyone very nice and always felt there 100% honest. One of halls still that plays paper only. I travel all the way from CASTRO VALLEY, Calif to attend.

I actually have two complaints to make one was prior. But main complaint will be noted first. At beginning before bingo starts they read basic rules to be honored to play bingo, which are included in there regular game list with rules attached. The name of caller at time goes by Larry, whom is there weekly. They play a special game that you purchase separate from regular buy in called double action, which is played in two parts, first part is basic 3 bingos, then goes to black out. What exactly happen is that a person called Bingo on a number of G49 which was last number called. But when they called number back to verify there was no 49 in the pattern of bingo. They had bingo on the number before which was N31. The whole entire bingo hall was speaking out that the next number had been called already. He argued that he did not call 49. Which he certainly did. He paused then still gave the person the bingo and annouced game closed. I stood up holding the paper that has rules on it and said oh are we not honoring the rules which you announce at start of session. He was quite with out response. I did state we will see about this I going to bingo comminision to report this hall for improper unfair gambling. I was not even close on the that part of the game my point is that was very unfair. We all paid for these papers extra beyond of regular buy-in. Shame on this bingo hall to react as such. My second complaint will now come forward . I let last complaint go because I like it there.

Few months back they sell what they call strips which are couple games they play a the start of game. Which go for $3.00 dollars each. I always buy 5 each and it's two different games they play before regular session starts. What happen was I was waiting in line like everyone else to purchase my strips. A regular customer walks along side of seller and says oh Larry can you hold 3 each of the strips for me. He says OK and puts them to the side..... Mind you this is same person Larry which is same person that called and paid an illegal not honest bingo. So when it came my turn to get to front He then ran out of strips. Says Sorry we ran out. I seen strips He set aside for girl who asked him to hold for her, that cut in front of rest of line. I said no you still have some right there. He says oh those are for someone. I said she was not in line so you mean we have favorites here. I said we will see about that, I am paying customer like everyone else. And yes I was very mad and made complaint.... Later I spoke to lady not sure of her name that is supposed to be person In Charge of the game. I explained to her what happen. No apologies made for what took place. She new I was right then tried to offer me her own personal ones she had. I did not want hers I wanted my own. Second time this has happen. Many times they hold tickets on the side for there big money buying tickets customers.

This is not fair. They are becoming crooked like other bingo halls. I have my regular group of customers that I look forward to playing with weekly. I have kept my dated ticket to prove my date this took place. I even left early I was so upset at that they allowed this to take place and stealing my money for what I paid to play. Most people won't waste time making complaint like I have. But If no one does not come forward it will continue again. I want my money back I paid that night $ 170.00. Plus all the other players deserve to have free buy,- in for what has taken place that night. Hopefully matter can be looked into. And my self will be credited for what I have put into it. Plus unconvince what I'm going through. Plus other regular players that keep this bingo hall open. Thank you very much Laurie Alix (((REDACTED)))
