On November 17, 2012 I visited the Bingham Farms, Michigan office of elove.  I was given an excellent presentation about their services, signed a membership agreement and paid their representative $2,500.  I was told that an inspection would be conducted and that I would receive my first referral in about two weeks.  Three weeks went by and I heard nothing from the company.  I wrote and requested the return of my $2,500.  Shortly after sending the letter, I received a phone call from the local office.  They told me that they had sent me two referrals, but they had been blocked as spam and that they re-sending those referrals.

Sure enough I received the "re-sent" referrals.  I called both and made appointments.  Grace, one of the women I made an appointment with had her son call, from an Emergency Room, to cancel that appointment.  I met with the second woman, who seemed nice, but not very interested.  I have wondered, if she was an actual referral or a "plant".  I sent a second letter requesting the return of my money and was told that since I had received a referral I was not entitled to a refund.  Either this company is running a big scam operation or they are incompetentthe two are similar and its sometimes hard to tell the difference.

I could retain an attorney to pursue a refund, but the amount of money doesnt make it attractive.  Im wondering if this isnt a case that could be bundled into a class action suit.  Im sure there are many other unhappy people, but many of them havent done anything because of embarrassment or because they dont know what to do.  Most of the attorneys that I know are tax attorneys, but Im sure they will have friends who would interested.  Anyone out there who would be interested in such a suit?
