This company places unauthorized charges on your phone bill by going through a third party charge.  I saw a charge of $15.87 on my phone bill by Email Bundle.  I never heard of this company.  I called them and they argued I did authorize this through the internet.  This is completely false.  I asked them to credit this charge to my phone company.  They got very snotty and rude, but said they would issue a credit.  This was 2-3 weeks ago.  I have not received a credit so I called them again today.  They said it would take 2-3 billing cycles for the credit to appear.  This is hogwash!  I have reported them to the Trenton, NJ BBB and still hope to get a credit.  I will be surprised if they actually do issue a credit.  We'll see.

In the meantime, if you have been slammed like this, please take the time to report the problem to the BBB and any other organization that can get the word out on these thieves!  Also ask your phone company to block all third party bills.

These companies that use underhanded methods to acquire your information and then steal money through a third party should be closed down for good!

Email Bundle is a Scammer

AUTHOR: Scotty - (United States of America)

POSTED: Friday, February 11, 2011

Yup, Email Bundle LLC (aka EmailBundle.com) is a scam operation.  I've heard several ways of being scammed, one involved facebook, and the other one involved EmailBundle calling you to "verify" information\sign up for their service.

My father-in-law fell victim to their scam, but we're still not quite sure how.  It's funny how you can sign up for a service and have NO IDEA how you got signed up or even ever heard of the company you supposedly signed up for service with.

A quick Google search for "Email Bundle" brings up TONS of scammed people people complaining.  Some on this website, some on others.

Also, the BBB has an "F" rating for Email Bundle.  An "F" rating is something you REALLY have to work for with the BBB.  The main reason cited for the low rating is sales and marketing practices.

Bottom line, "Email Bundle" is a complete and total SCAM.

Still no refund - also no Victoria (director of customer service)!

AUTHOR: S.Martin - (USA)

POSTED: Monday, August 02, 2010

I called the company again today as requested by Victoria (director of customer service)  spoke with Cory who advised me that they do not have a Victoria (director of customer service).   Also called my phone company who advised me no refund payment has been received.  (Even after two calls for this refund).  It is amazing that companies like this can get away with this.  Please make sure you have a block from you telephone company so third party companies cannot access your phone bill and add their charges.

Please contact us for assistance

Unfortunately the information you provided is not sufficient for us to assist you;

there are several issues of concern, rudeness is unacceptable from any of our agents and the satisfaction of our customers is very important to us.

Usually, we process refunds within 48 hours; however those go to a billing agregator and the to your phone company. It is likely that the credit missed the cut-off date of you phone bill.

None the less, please call us and ask for a Supervisor.
