EMarketResearch ripoff unethical company Scottsdale Arizona

eMarketResearch promised a free new IBM laptop computer to consumers in speceific geographical areas, in exchange for testing the computers and giving feedback. The prompts next led me through a number of offers, which I declined.

Next came a series of three pages, where acceptance of two offers (involving expenditures of money) were required in order to qualify for the free new IBM laptop.

After I had completed all these steps, committing myself financially to a number of companies, I reached a "Dead-End" screen, that had nothing to do with the promised laptop, and from which I could not escape from using the "Back" button.

My only recourse was to exit this window completely, presumably forfeiting the free laptop. I will notify the reputable companies to which I temporarily made financial committments, and report this fraud to them, cautioning them about doing business with such an unethical company as eMarketResearch.
