Emc Mortgage outlandish ripoff late fees dishonest ripoffs false promises Irving Texas

I suffered severe wind damage to my home. Insurance paid 18,953 dollars. Emc said that if I sent a letter along with the check the funds would be applied to the principal which was only 21,300. When they received the funds they put it in an escrow account and told me that I would have to pay the balance in full before they would release the funds.

I made a loan for the balance and paid them off. I have since sold the home and am still waiting for my release papers. It has been 4 months. They have repeatedly lied to me telling me that I should receive them any day. Today I called and was told regardless of what anyone else has told you nothing has been done.
