Emerge Mastercard Screwed Me Ripped off overcharged inflated cost overcharged Columbus Atlanta Georgia

Providian increased the interest rate on the account citing that I did not opt out by closing the account. I was never made aware of the increase until I noticed it on my billing statement. Several attempts to get the rate returned to original rate was unsuccessful. They are screwing account holders by saying that letters went out, but how do we know? I never got one!!!!! I think it is ridiculous that such an increase (7%) can take place and nothing can and will be done. Is there anyone out there that is thinking the same of Emerge/Providian.....Class Action Lawsuit.

They are screwing people big time and being rude at the same time. Last week, an account representative refused to give her last name or give me the telephone number for the corporate office. She and a supervisor hung up in my face.
