 AKRON, Ohio - Akron police arrested a man and his two sons after officers discovered a marijuana grow operation at an area business.

 The Akron Police Department said they collected 200 total pot plants in the bust on Thursday that included Emerson Grinding on Kelly Avenue, which is a company that grinds down rubber to make pellets.

 Police called it "An elaborate marijuana cultivation and growing operation happening inside a local business and three homes involving a father and his two sons." Officers also seized 12 guns and $25,000 in cash, police said.

 The owner of Emerson Grinding, 69-year-old Edward R. Emerson, was arrested on drug charges.

 Police searched the homes of Emerson's sons, on Acoma Street and Emmitt Street, according to the police department. That led to the arrests of Edward J. Emerson, 28, and Robert C. Emerson.

 All three are out on bond.
