On March 27 I had an empire sales Rep come to the Home and I purcheased Lamiate Wood Flooring and Carpeting, I paid $9000.00 Cash up front to do hte install. The arragements were made for the next day. The Installers arrived on time and Started working, They completed most of the job. They returned the next day to finish installing the Laminate and to install the carpet. The Installer them selves were kind and courtoues and had me sign that I was happy with them, which I was like I said they were nice. The one thing I had asked was doesn't the flooring have to sit a few days in the home before being installed? I was told not Empire does not do that, ok... I said nothing more.

A few days later I called to report that the carpet smelled and that the wood flooring did not look right, The person I spoke to said that there was no one available but that she would report it and they would get back to me in a coup of days. I did not hear from them so I called again, trying several different numbers that were on the paperwork.  The person in customer Service Maggie, sent the installer out again, May 15 @3:50pm they came out (the same Guys) took pictures, by pulling up corner base to show there was a gap for expansion. They also smelled the carpet, I told them I thought that it was "new Carpet smell" at 1st but that it was not going away.

I own a nice size Commercial Cleaning Company, and do alot of Construction for Hospitals and Universityies and Bio-Labs, so I got out my carpet exstractor and cleaned the carpet 2 time since installation before they got there.

Anyway they left and again asked me to sign that I was happy with them, This was true They themselves were very pleasant and since I work in the costruction insudrty and watched them install, I saw nothing that seemed strange about the way they were performing there work, I am not a flooring expert I am a cleaning expert.

So any way I again made several calles to Empire, they finnally got me to a lady named Maggie who sent one of their "independant" inspector out to inspect the flooring on May 23, (almost 2 moth later) anyway he did his inspection and sent it to Empire. Well I  called them back on May 31st to find out if they had gotten the report from him they said no, so I called his office and the lady at his office said she sent in the report. I called them back again and left another message for Maggie.

On June 4th I received a VM from Marcus with Empire, I called him back left a message and he returned my call on june 5th. He informed me that the report said I was to blame because I was getting the floor too wet. I own a cleaning company and have had Lamiate before and have never had these problems, I explained this to him he said there was nothing he could do but would fax me the report.

Now I am looking for an independaent flooring inspector in Orlando and a Lawer that can help. I have never had such trouble trying to get a issue resolved and then being told it is my fault. I had One person come over to do some other type of work for me and he said that the flooring sure looked bad to him he said it looked both like material and install.... ARRHHH I will sign on for a class action suit!!!! I want this stuff Removed and a refund Period. The stuff looks worse every day and have have only dust mopped and vacuumed it!!!!
