i had empire put these blinds up like slats on the windows in the house and this was done alittle over a year ago, and i had to paint the house and they were taken down and put back up, but now they aent working right and the slats are falling when you open the blinds. i have to keep them shut. well i been calling them at all different numbers and some dont work, and then i was able to talk to someone in another city. they tell me they will give you a appointment within 3 days. well its been at least 8-9 days and i still dont have an appontment. this one person calls and tells me they dont have a richmond office, and that someone would have to come from norfolk. well they havent called me back and no appontment has been made, and here i am with broken blinds. they also told me when i took them down it voided the warranty, but if i hadnt done that how long would i have to wait like forever for them. I am being ignored by them warranty or not. they tell me i would have to pay for them to come. why would i have to pay for someone to come from norfolk which is at least a 1 1/2 drive. guess they would want me to pay for the gas also. i have found these slats are not good. they come out of shape without touching them, and i have had 2 valances fall in other rooms and they were not touched. how can i get any satisfation from them. I would them i will file a report with the bbb. and the girl on the phone when i first called said im sorry your having this trouble.
