I have been working for NHCD since the beginning of July 2005 and I'm a Personnel Recruiter for this company. I didn't even know about this website until I did some investigation work after the company bounced my paycheck for under $200.00. I wish I had known what a big ripoff they were before I started working for them. I have hired a lot of employees to work for this company and now I'm worried that their paychecks may be bad as well as mine.

I spoke with management this week and the company has bounced a lot of employee paychecks. I don't feel like I can continue to work for a company that lies to its employees. My manager tells me don't worry about it, because the company will issue me a new paycheck as well as cover my bank fee, but maybe the wool has been pulled over her eyes as well. I didn't bounce any checks I wrote due to the returned paycheck, but I worry about all the employees hired and live paycheck to paycheck that count of this income to feed their families. I know that I have personally hired many who are just that.

Also, just recently I found out that the company is changing banks, so our paychecks will be delayed an additional week. Originally, when I was hired the company held back two weeks pay before I received my first paycheck. Included in our last paycheck was a notice to all employees letting them know that NHCD will be skipping another week of pay, so that will make them three weeks behind paying me for work already done. They blamed this delayed paycheck of the additional week hold back due to "chaning banks." Also with the bounced/retured paycheck they blamed that on changing banks as well. I'm not sure if this is just a big cover for completely screwing thousands of employees completely out of pay before going belly up. Does NHCD plan to screw it's employees out of all future paychecks?

I have leads that my manager gave me to call over this weekend to hire, but I just don't feel like lying to anyone now that I figured this company out. I feel bad that I was so naive to believe this company as legitimate and wished I had found this website BEFORE I started working for them. I honestly wanted to believe that this was a legitimate job, so I could take care of my small children at home. I JUST WANT TO SAY I'M SO SORRY TO EVERYONE I HIRED TO WORK FOR THIS COMPANY. I HONESTLY THOUGHT THIS COMPANY WAS LEGITIMATE AND I WAS SO WRONG!

I worked for NHCD, too. Just for a month, though because they were majorly ripping me off. It was supposed to be a $19.95 deposit, which was refunded in a month. They took $55 dollars out of my account and I haven't gotten it back. They are also STILL charging my account for the $18 a month (a long distance thing..). I finally stopped payment but I didn't want to have to pay the $25 stop payment fee. I finally did, but I still never got the deposit back OR any of my paychecks! I had TONS of leads and have paperwork to prove it, but they will go down soon enough. I would call all of the people I hired and let them know what's going on!

I just returned home after being gone 13 days, my Mother had cancer surgery out of town,While still in Texas I found out from my husband my bank was sending me notices, upon calling them I foind out NHCD had written me 3 bad checks, 2 on a closed account! I called NHCD PAYROLL and my Manager 3 days in a row and NO one has called me back. I am filing charges tomorrow if I do not hear from them. I also quit and feel so awful about the people I hired, some are friends!

Keep those checks!!

Keep those bad checks. Don't give them back to
the company no matter what they say. Take the
bad checks to the Prosecuting Attorney's Office where the checks were received. If they were
mailed to you, then your county's P.A.

I took care of some bad payroll checks this way
a few years ago. The P.A.'s office will have
you fill out some forms and if the check is over
a certain amount it can be a felony.

In my case, felony charges were filed, along with
a warrant. The person who wrote the bad checks
was arrested and had to pay me before getting out
of jail. It was GREAT!

It may take some time, but it's worth the effort.

Good Luck,

Pissed,

You hit the nail on the head, let's see how long it takes for that Kaboom.......Wanna make a wager? lol

As for past instances cathy, let's look back a few years when some manager's weren't getting paid for at least a month and a half while legal problems were being paid off. When certain managers threatened to quit, wow, they got a paycheck. That's how it went down. From what I've heard, it's not the only time either.

Have a great day!!

THE BIG KABOOOOOOOM

Wonder why they are switching banks???? Consider this... They are bouncing so many checks their bank does want their business anymore!!! And holding someone's pay for 2 weeks because of switching banks is illegal!! You can not hold someone's pay for any reason at all!!

I am a firm believer of "What Goes Around Comes Around". GET READY FOR THE BIG KABOOOOOOM!!!!

So sorry

AUTHOR: Ex- - (U.S.A.)

POSTED: Sunday, October 23, 2005

Naive, I'm so sorry you're having to deal with this. Let's hope they're telling the truth about changing banks. But it's not the first time they've delayed payment to their workers. Did you call the company direct to try and collect your money? They should never have so little cash that they can't pay their reps even if they are changing banks.

Good luck and keep us posted.
