Summit Group Publications I guess some things are too good to be true - be a pessimist West Covina California

I thought I would have a chance to work from home and make some money. That's what the ad said and it was in our local shopper. I will be giving them a call.

Their ad said earn up to "$1000/weekly Mailing our Brochures. Free Supplies. No Experience Necessary. Call 1-800-896-6449 (24 hrs.)"

So I called and they asked for my name and address. When I received the so called application, they asked me to send $35. I was skeptical, so I held off and started looking on the internet to see if I could find anything on them. Thank god I found this site, unfortunately it was busy for days so I kept trying.

What I found out was you send the money and they "may" send you a packet of their brochures and then you have mail them and get the people to send you $5 for the program. From what I can tell it sounds like a chain letter, but much worse. This is illegal. Noone ever gets anything but Summit gets our money.

I think we all should call them and flood their phone lines. You can call the number above. Maybe have them send out tons of their applications to you at their cost and never respond.
