Bernard Haldane Associates ripoff misleads, Glad I didn't tell anyone Columbia South Carolina

I completed my second interview with "VP" Chris Carver (there's only three other people at that only SC office, one secretary and two part-time "counselors") at Haldane's office in Columbia last night. Not until the end of the "interview" (salespitch) did he disclose that $5500 would be necessary to "go to work" for me. I was completely mislead as to what this firm was about, thinking it to be a mid-level executive recruiter who helped people that are looking to break through to the $60-100K jobs, via the "informal" or "unadvertised" job market, accessible through the special contacts they'd developed with some 600+ companies over the years. I'm very sorry I wasted my time but am glad I didn't get burned like many of those on here. I became quite suspicious after last night's experience and came to do the better homework, that I should have done earlier, now. Too bad, since "I reminded him and their lead counselor of their biggest success story to date", who was one 31-year-old man who was earning about $46K and jumped to $90K by taking a position with Bank of America in a larger city.

I will definitely be warning all my B-school friends who earned their MBA along with me. Glad I didn't tell anyone about this before I explored it fully.
