Encore Financial Group ripoff promised to get me a credit card I applied for but was turned down. I should get refund Saint GEORGE Utah

My name is adrienne and I am disabled. I was contacted by Encore Financial Group and was promised they could get me a credit card. I applied for the card and all denial letters were faxed them to them and they were to send those papers to research dept. I was to get a refund back. The funds that where taken out my account was $123.95.

I faxed the papers as asked by a Libby. She told me at that time I would be getting my refund. I called them 4 times; on the 3rd call I was told it was still sitting on her desk, and that this person from research then told me I would get my refund back in 7-10 days.

I called again and I talked with Libby herself and was told that they went on the internet and got me approved for a Chase credit card.

I said so if I call Chase they would be able to tell me the info she said huhhh yeah they should. I said what was the limit on the card? They could not tell me so I did contact chase and talked with sakina at chase and she asked for my ssn. I gave it but they could not find nothing not one thing.

So I called e.f.r. again then Libby said that the letter they mailed you was an approval letter. I said no it's not. I was told to pay you all and I was promised to be able to get a card and get my money back.

They keep coming up with reason why they will not send my money back. I asked are you all listed with the BBB? She said no not yet but in the process of beginning to be listed with them.

I just want my money back and go on my way and take it as another lesson learn,

I am a single mother of 4 and disabled and only trying to get a start on getting back on track with my credit
