These people are something else! I played along and provided them a closed account number BEFORE agreeing to have any money debited, knowing that the only way they could take any money by me doing this would be to do it against my permission and illegally. Sure enough, after promising me a "payday loan that you don't have to pay back because it's a government grant", they were going to send me a credit card with a $5,000 credit line. They put me on their computer system and tried to get me to authorize the $199.95 debit and I clearly said that I did not authorize it and I hung up.

The guy called me back and asked why I hung up and I told him that they were trying to scam me and I wasn't going to authorize them to take the money. He said, "You already did when my agent explained the program to you." I told him that I hadn't and I wouldn't. I kept him on the phone and asked him for the name of the company and a website. He gave me "First National Premium Bank" and told me their website was at http://www.multimedia4u.org (which is where I found the other name, Encore Financial Services. I researched First National Premium Bank on the net and on this site and I didn't find anything. Then, I tried Encore Financial Services and I found a virtual plethora of people who had been ripped off by these thieves. I told the guy about it and he said they are going to get the money and there was nothing I could do about it.

WRONG! I'm an employee of my bank and when I tell them to look for someone trying to access funds on this closed account, the fit is going to hit the shan!
