Encore Financial Resources called and promised us a credit card of our choice a phone card and a gas card good for anytime anywhere. All this for $139.95.
They took the money out too early costing us fees,I told them not to take out the money since they lied. They took out extra money! The pass code for the web site would not work. We complained they said they would refund us if three credit card co. denied us 6 denied us They said they had to send in an application.
They accused my husband and I of being liars. I was really stressed have been out money on anxiety medicine and the same day they accused us of being liars and I stressed out real bad I miscarried my baby.
They didn't send us a gas card, we have been trying to get a refund back since Nov. 24, 2003 It is now January 31, 2004. If any comments please contact me by using the rebuttal box below.

rip off by encore financial - credit card and long distance

encore called me on phone in may and talk me into getting credit card and long distance. she took my checking account information over the phone. I called the next day to cancell and was told utah has a law concerning cancelling credit card.
I ask to postponed taking any money out of my account until june 10, 2004. On the june 4, 2004 i went to my bank and put stop payment on this check.
Here is june 29, 2004 and I come to find out my checking account is overdraw the sum of 118.00.
They took the 169.95 out may 27, 2004 and on june 4, 2004 they took out 59.95 for long distance.
These type of company should be stop now. we must ban together to stop these company from taking our hard earned money!!! i am going to try really hard to get my money back.
