On January 15th 2010 I was listening to a local radio station when an advertisement came on from " Consumer Credit Council Service". The advertisement sounded la'git because they protrayed themselves as the Consumer Credit Councilling Service.
I called the 1-800 number was immediately connected to a rep that basically sold me a package of coupons he said was worth $1500. for $4.95 plus 5.00 for "overnight shipping fees" Total costs $9.95. Which was debited from my account that day.
I was told that these coupons could be used at any grocery store of my choice.
Today is February 3, 2010 and I still have not received my "coupons", which were to have been "overnighted". I have called numerous times to get placed on hold for up to 15 mins at a time, I was told that I have to wait 30 days and call back then if I have still not received my coupons, they would void that order and send me new ones?
To all consumers please be aware of this scam, I was mislead by them thinking they were associated with the Consumer Credit Councilling Services, whom I have great respect for assisting consumers with credit issues. They are not.

To whom it may concern,
I am writing in reference to the rip off report listing that is causing a negative impact on my business. I am a newly licensed in the sate of New York under the name of Encore Marketing Group. I have no relation to the Encore Marketing Group you have listed on your site, which is located in North Carolina. I just want to make sure that your site does not cause any defamation or unjust negative PR against my company since your association with my registered business name in NY has no association with the company listed or report you hav elisted on your site.
I ask that you please remove this report as it posses an unprovoked negative threat to my business and SEO search rankings, which could cause a loss off business do to the unclear association of my company against the 'rip-off' report you have listed.
My company owns EncoreMarketingGroup.com and will have to pursue further action if the rip-off report does not clearly disassociate my company based in NY from the company mentioned in this report. In additon, the report is not based on any justified information i could find regarding Encore Marketing Group or the person filing the complaint.
I appreciate your immediate attention to this matter.
