Bait and Switch, My wife and I contacted Energy Plus to Install windows for our home. We found this company at a home show amongst several other window companies as well. We had 2 estimates prior to Energy plus coming to the home. The sales rep (Glen) seemed to be very knowledgeable about the other companies and had a lot of the same paperwork as a competitor (Come to find out he copied warrantys etc. word for word) Glen made it seem as if he were the factory and even showed us some pictures of how the windows were made in his factory. The website look legitimate and eluded to the fact that they made their own windows as well. The windows he showed us seemed to be well constructed and equivalent to the competitors but much cheaper(since he made them right). We should have known you cant get the same quality for eight thousand dollars cheaper!! Hindsight right!! We signed the contract (regretfully now) and waited for the project to begin. We did some research as we waited just to check out what Glen had told us- First lie was that he had been in business for along time. Energy PLUS has only been around for 18 months- And they don't make any windows at all- their just a dealer, so we were very concerned about the product we would be getting since it was so much cheaper than the competitors. Our concerns were realized when the sub contractor came to install them. The Sub seemed to have trouble putting them in from the get go, he told us he hadn’t installed many windows before and had only installed one other job for the Energy plus company. He told us the other job he installed was MIS MEASURED! He said ours were WORSE and he needed to trim the sides of the windows down to make them fit. Really-Trim the windows down!!! He proceeded to trim the windows and force the product in our home. AT this point we were disgusted with the installation and the company for allowing this to happen- We would have stopped them from installing but the IDIOT took all our windows out first(destroying them along the way) which left us NO CHOICE but to allow him to try and make them work!! The windows that were installed now don't operate correctly, don't have the energy savings I was PROMISED!! and really DONT LOOK LIKE THE WINDOWS HE SHOWED US!

We feel he showed us one window and installed something different!!! WE SHOULD HAVE KNOWN THIS WHEN THEY WERE 8,000 CHEAPER!!! Now we are back up North and cant deal with this CRAP anymore. We have given this to our attorney to handle-Now we have to deal with lawyer fees!!! This company doesn't do what they say their going to do!!!!

IF YOU DONT WANT TO BECOME A VICTIM LIKE US PLEASE DO YOUR RESEARCH BEFORE BUYING THESE MIDDLEMAN LOW QUALITY WINDOWS!!!!!
