Enrique Limontas, aka Rique aka Ricky Rich is a lying cheating scammer.

He posted two lenses up for sale on Craigslist.org and described these lenses as being in "excellent condition." I paid a total of $1260, $710 for a Sigma 70-200mm f2.8 and $510 for a Sigma 24-70mm F2.8 lens from this scammer.

At first inspection, the lenses seemed to focus and be in working condition. I specifically asked him if there was anything wrong with the lenses as I am going to use these lenses regularly and he replied with "Of course not, I use these for weddings all the time. Now I stick with my 50mm 1.2 lens so I have no use for these lenses and I am just looking to let them go already." I naively took his word for it because I figured I was paying a reasonable amount of money for clean well taken care of lenses, as well as the fact that he had specifically stated that they were in "excellent condition" in writting so I paid him the $1260.

I had these lenses for less than 2 hours before the AF motors on both of them started to get stuck and no longer were working. They work after disconnecting and reconnecting them for only 5-10 minutes and he knew this so he took advantage of the fact that I would probably only be able to inspect these lenses at point of sale and he completely took advantage of me.

This "Rique" guy is the lowest scummiest person on earth and I would not be so upset but for the fact that when I tried to contact him, he deliberately tried to blame the fact that they broke on my mishandling the lenses. So I took these lenses to Camera Repair Japan where the diagnosed the problem with both these lenses and gave me an estimate for service.

It turns out that the circuit board on the 70-200mm is not repairable and no longer available, so it is a total loss and as for the 24-70mm, the repair will cost $180. I went a step further and asked them if these kind of issue are from mishandling or from something I could have done, and they stated that the motor simply gave out from too much use and that this cannot happen from simply mishandling. Trust me, he knew this 100% as he is a wedding and portrait photography with a business at www.enriquelimontas.com and www.KissPortraitStudios.com which is used these lenses until they burnt and then sold them to me as in perfectly "excellent condition, no oil, no wear, no dust."

This guy, Enrique Limontas, Rique, Ricky Rich is a faking lying pitiful person and the only thing I am left to do is take him to small claims court and sue him for this scam he has subjected me to. I have all the proof necessary to take this scumbag to court and get my refund (printed craigslist.org ads, handwritten reciept for purchase with his signature and a repair estimate with detailed description from a camera repair shop) so I am looking forward to the moment when I have a judge order him to refund the money he has stolen from me. 

I am here on ripoff report simply to warn anyone who does business with this guy. He is capable of doing anything for an extra buck. Do not believe his B.S. Christian, God fearing lies, he will stab you if you turn your back.
