I purchased a new Honda at a Mega Dealer in my town and they convinced me to purchase the Protector Guard for the body and interior. I set up an appt and they convinced me to take a Free Loaner Car. I said I didn't need one but they insisted. It was a convenience they were offering to me for FREE (never again ERAC).

When I arrived I discovered that the dealership had a small office (three desks) in the service area for Enterprise Rent a Car. I was extremely reluctant to take a car from them, since earlier in the year my wife and daughter traveled in one of their cars, looking for the owners manual in the glove box, my daughter discovered several packages of CONDOMS. Wonder what was going on in that car, really didn't want to take another one from them.

The female agent went outside with me and I had to point out all of the rather nasty scratches all over the car and she went to the passenger side and told me she checked the scratches on the passenger front fender.

Soon after I got the car, the dealership called me and said my car was ready. I went over to the dealer immediately and pulled the car into the repair area, complaining that the brakes made a horrible vibration when in reverse. The service manager told me they knew of the problem and the car was part of a CLASS ACTION LAWSUIT AND POTENTIAL RECALL. Thanks Enterprise!!!!

I went to the designated area where the Agents were supposed to be, no one was there. So, I stood in line for 20 minutes waiting with other people to pay for my car. After I paid, I saw someone (a male) sitting at one of the desks. I asked if he worked for Enterprise, he said "no". I asked if anyone from Enterprise was around, he laughed and said that hardly any of the time was someone from Enterprise there. What is the purpose of a satellite office, if no one is there? The lack of personnel was confirmed by several other members of the staff at the dealership. The personnel at the dealership confided in me that they are removing Enterprise from their facility and will no longer be using them.

I left the car keys on the desk, as told by the male sitting there, the car was stillparked in the entrance for the service department and Ileft. I received a letter dated 12 days after returning the car from the Damage Recovery Unit in Fl. I called the number immediately and spoke to a male person that was, in my opinion, rude and accusatory. I explained the situation to him and he said I was responsible for damages to the car until someone from Enterprise checked the car in. Even if no one is in the facility. He also said that I would be getting another letter if it was determined that I was at fault, since I wasn't at fault I didn't expect one.The letter came in another 20 days.

The follow up letter told me that I owed them over $1000.00 and I was expected to pay in full or give them my insurance information and file a claim. The bill showed that they needed new front sidemarkers, a new headlight assembly, etc.. Now, I'm no dummy, but if that much damage had been done to the car while it was in my possession, I would have had a police report made out for my insurance company.

I agree with a number of other people complaining onRipOff Reportsand I will be contacting Lisa Madigan, my attorney general for Illinoisand several media sources to complain about this, in my opinion, unsubstantiated fraudulent claim by Enterprise.

I have rented solely from Enterprise for more than 27 years and this is the thanks I get, CONDOMS in the glove box for my wife's/daughter's viewingand the allegation that I damaged a car that is part of a class action lawsuit and potential recall. Thanks Enterprise.

See if you get anymore of my business or anybody I know or anyone who will listen.
