Entertainment Work; Entertainmentwork This company is nothing but a scam!!!! They are internet thieves!!! Beware!! Internet

I want to warn other people about this total ripoff gimmick - Entertainment Work or Entertainmentwork. Boy do they have so many ways to continue to steal your money. THEY ARE THIEVES, RIPOFF ARTISTS AND SCAM ARTISTS TO THE MAX!!! A year or so ago, I had met a gentleman who had worked as an extra on the TV Show "Texas Ranger". He told me how he had thoroughly enjoyed the experience. So, when I saw an ad in our local newspaper for Movie Extras, I thought it might be something I'd like to look into.

I WAS WRONG!! I called the number and talked to a woman who told me there would be a $9.50 fee, ($2.50 shipping and $7.00 activation fee). She told me she would send a packet of info, and that there would be a 2 week trial period. She gave me a "log in" and password for their website. She said that if I wanted to cancel, to notify them within the 2 week period and there wouldn't be any further charges. Well, the issue with these ripoff artists is that they won't really let you cancel. I saw today that even though I called and canceled within the allotted time period, they charged me $80.00 anyway.

APPARENTLY, THIS $80.00 IS A MONTHLY FEE FOR THEIR SERVICES. BUT I HAVEN'T USED THEIR SERVICES AND DON'T WANT TO. These scam artists think they are very good at getting your money and keeping it. Now, another scam they are running revolves around this packet that they are supposed to send out. Well, I never received a packet, which is a problem because the info on their website says that in order to cancel your "membership" you must use the info in the packet and must go to or respond to at least 3 interviews before you can cancel. NO ONE SAID ANYTHING LIKE THAT WHEN I AGREED TO TRY A TRIAL PERIOD WITH THESE WACKOS. So, the other interesting info on their internet site is that you must return the packet within the 2 week trial period in order to cancel. If the packet is not returned they will charge $15.00. RIPOFF, RIPOFF, RIPOFF.

At this point I don't know what to do. I will, of course, put a stop payment on the checks for any amount charged after I called and canceled. Of course, I will call them back and discuss the situation because it is apparent that they think they have a right to charge my account $80 EVERY MONTH!!!!!!

Oh, yes, I should explain why I didn't talk to anyone at this SCAM ARTIST company until the last day of the 2 week trial period. Originally, I really had planned to check out the web site and read the packet, that I had been told about (but that I never received), and to go out on some interviews. The problem is that during that same 2 week period I began to experience intense pain that I eventually found out was my gall bladder only working 20%.

So, I had my gall bladder removed one week prior to the end of the 2 week period. IT'S OBVIOUS THESE PEOPLE DON'T CARE THAT I'VE HAD SURGERY AND WAS UNABLE TO EVEN THINK ABOUT ANYTHING ELSE BUT THE PAIN I WAS EXPERIENCING. JERKS, RIPOFF ARTISTS, SCAM ARTISTS. So, my advice to anyone and everyone: DO NOT GET INVOLVED WITH THIS COMPANY CALLED ENTERTAINMENTWORK OR ENTERTAINMENT WORK!!!!!

They are not planning to help you get into acting or commercials or into a job as a movie extra, no, no no. THEY ONLY WANT YOUR MONEY - DON'T GIVE THEM THE TIME OF DAY!! DON'T GIVE THEM YOUR CREDIT CARD NUMBER OR YOUR CHECKING ACCOUNT NUMBERS!!!!!!
