Enzo's Salon North Royalton DJ Rip Offs, Inflate Prices, RUDE, RUDE AND RUDE!!! North Royalton, Ohio

My experiences with DJ- the salon owner- were TERRIBLE. I have NEVER - in my entire life - worked with such an unprofessional person. Because this salon is close to my home, I really wanted to settle into it. However, each time I was there DJ - the co-owner- had bona fide heated arguments with customers. She manipulated her prices (note that she does not display service chargers on a menu, brochure, etc.), and then when the customers complained about these wavering prices she got irritated and defensive and did nothing to remedy the situations.

What happened next that scared me off? She died my blonde hair almost BLACK- yes, BLACK. Id asked to have it one shade darker- a light brown. Everyone I know was horrified, and when I asked what she could do to minimize the impact she charged me FULL price for the fix, and defended her actions stating that SHE thought Id be better off with the darker color.

Note: she doesnt use hair color samples so it is a mystery as to how your hair color will turn out. If you want to go to a salon that has clear policies and expectations, where you will be treated with respect, and have some rights as a customer, where you can know that if your stylist makes a mistake she will fix it without charging you and being cruel, go somewhere else. Also, each time I saw DJ she literally whined about how she should make more money than she does because she is so good, and does continuing education?

At $140 for a cut and color she is making more than most people in America, and it is offensive to teachers and people who dont make that much money in a day! As another reviewer also reported, she also casually mentioned to me that she would "charge whatever she wanted" because she was "that good" she comes off as exceptionally arrogant. I found her behavior to be childish and unprofessional. She also relentlessly SHOVES services down your throat- tanning, manicures, etc. you have to fight her off every 5 minutes!

Finally, she gives you services and thus adds services onto your bill without asking you. I asked for a partial highlight and a cut and she took the liberty of adding other colors which inflated my bill significantly. A fact: she is so hard to work with that almost all of her employees have either quit, or she has fired them! The whole vibe of this place is manipulative, unprofessional, and hostile. Id strongly discourage anyone from going there.
