EPASSPORTE SECURITY
question one: How safe is ePassporte?

there answer: ePassporte provides a safe and secure way to manage your financial needs. All transactions are conducted with the latest and most sophisticated security techniques available from Visa. Purchases on the Internet using your ePassporte Virtual Visa are fully protected through the use of Verified by Visa in addition to Password security and protection techniques. All sensitive data is fully protected by the most secure encryption methods available. ePassporte further enhances your protection through utilization of additional verification mechanisms to ensure that only you are able to use your Virtual Visa.

my answer:bollocks is it safe, they took 271.09 out of my visa card and dont have an account with epassporte

question two How does ePassporte's authentication procedure work.

there answer: If you have a Visa credit card, you may have the option of using the Verify by Visa authentication process. If you do not have that option or you prefer to use the ePverify authentication process, this is how it works: After you enter your debit or credit card information ePassporte will authorize a pending charge on that card for a random amount between USD$0.01 and USD$2.00. You will then be directed to contact your card issuing bank by calling the phone number on the back of the card or checking your online statement to find out the exact amount of the pending charge (Note: if contacting the bank by phone, please ask the bank representative for the 'pending auth' amount in U.S. dollars). Once you have done so, ePassporte will ask you to confirm the exact amount of the pending charge before it activates your ePassporte account. ePassporte requires you to do this in order to ensure that your credit card is not being used fraudulently. The verification process protects you because only the actual Cardholder can gain access to information about pending charges on your card. Rest assured, however, that ePassporte will not charge you for the pending charge, and the authorization will drop off of your credit card statement within a few days.
my answer: total and utter s**t,bollocks and crap they took 271.09 out of my visa card and donti have an account with epassporte and never had any other amount come out of my visa.
