We have recently noticed, on our bank statements, unauthorized amounts totaling 61.49 coming out over the last 3 months. We wrote to the bank asking them to refuse any transactions related to Epoch.com/EUEpoch.com. Today we had our bank statements through & there was another transaction for 21.05. My Fiance phoned the bank to ask why this had been allowed as we had already told them not to, & were informed that it was a card transaction & that they had no power to stop this. I must admit that this beggars belief as in my experience there is not a fat lot that a bank cannot do! My partner has now gone to our bank, (Natwest), to try & sort this out. I have e-mailed epoch & am waiting for a response. If anyone else has had problems with this lot please reply to this post. Also if anyone has any information on these people, please let me know.

UPDATE
The bank has informed us that they cannot stop the transactions as they are done through my switch card. They have said that they will reimburse us as we did send a letter requesting the payments to be stopped. A more positive reaction was gleaned from epoch. They have agreed to reimburse us the total amount as the company who were requesting payment had not followed the correct protocols. I had originally payed a one off payment to "Warez", a private torrent site. Unbeknown to myself, this payment was actually to another site, & if you didn't cancel the subscription within 3 days you would then be charged monthly. As I wasn't informed of this it appears I will be able to recieve a reimbursement. I will keep you posted on any further developments as & when they happen.
