Equity Lifestyle Properties If Equity Lifestyle Properties' goal is to create value for residents by providing consistently high levels of services then I give them a grade of F! They must have decided that high standards in how they treat prospective residents doesn't fit into the CUSTOMER DIS SERVICE and POOR MANAGEMENT Chicago Nationwide

According to Equity Lifestyles mission statement their goal is to provide consistently high levels of service and professionalism in management. Well, if that's the case I give them an F- to the staff and management at Colony Cove and the entire Southern Region.

On 8/9/15 I made a cash offer to purchase a home in Colony Cove located in Ellenton, FL. The owner accepted my offer. On 8/10/15 at 1:30 I met with Ashley, the Recreation Director who reviewed my application and all of my financial documentation and took my $50.00 NON REFUNDABLE deposit. She remarked that she was very busy and had to leave early that day because her husband had a drs. appointment so she barily glanced at the paper work She informed me that I'd hear back within 24 to 48 hours. 96 hours passed and I hadn't heard a word. On 8/15/15 I went back to the office and asked to speak with Ashley. I let her know I was not pleased that she hadn't called me back. I was informed that she was not permitted to contact clients. However in the company's mission statement they state, "'to empower every employee to take the initiative and be a creative agent of change. Ashley would recieve a D-. She informed me that management had ?regarding me addresses in Central America where I've been living for the past two years. I E-mailed her the information and she AGAIN said I'd hear something in a couple of days. When I called back again on 8/17/15 I was told that I needed to supply additional information regarding my financial status and that it had to go to CORPORATE.  In the meantime I sent E-mails to corporate requesting an update and informing them that I was not pleased with the type of service I was receiving. The response I received was, "Thank you for contacting Equity Lifestyle a customer service representative will be with you shortly. I HAVE YET TO RECEIVE A RESPONSE. Grade F.

On 8/20/15 the owner of the MH went to the sales/community office to complain about the delay. She was informed that I didn't submit my application until 8/17/15. THIS WAS BOLD FACE LIE. When challanged the office told her that they LOST my application. She said whe was calling corporate to which the individual said, "Oh NO! You can't call corporate." The owner called corporate and spoke to someone who informed her that my application was being "reviewed" by a VP and that we'd hear something by 8/21/15.  Today is 8/22/15 and STILL NO WORD.

I've been in the Customer Service line of work for over 20 years including with Comcast and this is with out a doubt the worst company I've even delt with.
