Show customers why they should trust your business over your competitors...

I am a non professional starting model on One model Place, my agent is Dalton James from CA. So I am a model in New York that went on a casting to meet this photographer about a year ago, I am from San Francisco so I really am not to sure how it works out in New York.
He told me when i met him that he had an hour to shoot me. He told me that if I posed for him he would give me some images. His work looked great and his place was nice, so I was thrilled.

I had never have done any nudity before, he insisted that I take my top off once we stated shooting, I was not confortable so I did not. He started making odd noises and acting funny. It really become unconfortable and started to get worried. He came inside my "personal space", to "fix" the garmet. I felt like he was going to do something to me, so I told him I had to go. He got upset and I was so scared! I never contacted or asked him for the photographs. I felt like I got out of there without getting raped or hurt and I was thankful.

From the looks of it, many people have had these bad experiences with Eric Fischer. Maybe he is claiming it is a part of his creative genius, but I think he is more than likly a frustrated sex offender. Everyone has to be careful with this person. I will not be suprised to hear that he has been arrested or on TV as one of those people that rapes or kills a model. I know that my agent has contacted models, agents, photographers and magazines to let them know to watch out for this person.

No Surprise To the Dangers of ModelMayhem

AUTHOR: Ken1969 - (U.S.A.)

As you can tell from other reports filed, ModelMayhem is a breeding ground for predators who claim to be photographers. Last year, 5 models were raped in Miami by an ex-Miami cop using modelmayhem to find victims. Yes he was convicted. All the models left and only use the real professional sites that monitor the site and industry.

ModelMayhem is purely a mess of wannabes, predators and escorts.

DO I believe the models claims here? Yes because it is very typical of the site and the types that use ModelMayhem. Should be named ModelBEWARE.

It Must Be Very Boring In The Valley.

AUTHOR: Korine - (U.S.A.)

Dear Pat-

Only in the movies do people lay down their lives for someone they don't know. I'm certainly no Femme Fatale who comes charging in to ready to run in front of a speeding train if I have to.

When I say I don't need this in my life, I mean it.

I am here to fullfill my professional responsibility by voicing how I feel about this, in defense of a photographer whom mostlikely did nothing wrong to anybody. I am not going to look the other way when I see there is something terribly wrong here.

With all the other "complaints" of which have received a rebuttal, why did you respond to this one? What is it about this certain one that is more important to you to respond to? Korine? Or Anon's inability to make suspicion or paranoia a complaint?

Its been established that Anon was not forced to take her clothes off. She said so herself. The photoshoot continued. She chose on her own to leave, as she has claimed. What more do you want people to believe?

Who really knows if Anon really did work with this photographer? Who really knows if all this is even true? Do you? Of course you don't. And do I? Of course I don't either... I was not there nor do I know any of the parties involved. But I am skeptical of these complaints and doubtful, for many reasons. On a whim, as I doubt you researched this, you've decided she just might be credible. Even after all that was said.

I might as well just tell you what my problem is with all these complaints, so I don't have to spend another moment to do so. Examine the times and dates and categories of the first three complaints. If you saw a pattern in those complaint postings, wouldn't you think there was something fishy? Of course. Models are from the internet (god knows how much trouble some can be). And there is absolutely *no proof* whatsoever that these happenings happened. Anybody can say "I went to the police" but as far as I have heard from others... no reports whatsoever have been filed against this photographer, except the usage of this site. Also note that complaints weren't immediately put in. One person said that she shot with him last year, IF I remember correctly. What took so long?

These complaints have been provoked, they'd have to be. Nobody knows why now these complaints are appearing. Do you know? I don't know.

I hope you'll understand that this site can easily be abused. But if you are what you say, a passerby, then you fully know what kind of trouble this site can make for someone. And I hope that with your responses you'll keep that in mind. I also do not understand even the point of this site, except to draw in trouble makers. Or people to stir the pot, when they do not research before speaking.

I feel you have done just that.

The Individual is an established fashion photographer. As it is not only an extremely competitive business, he's working in an extremely competitive city on top of that. These could simply be complaints fueled by a competitor. Is that too over the top for you to consider? It happens all the time, Pat.

Why you are willing to speak up to warn people to not discredit a person who does not even have the guts to post their name is beyond my understanding. How are you able to trust or believe a phantom?

You may say I am dramatic. And you may say that my comments are over the top. Perhaps that is because my personality is, I write exactly in the way I talk, but regardless of my flair, *it still does not dismiss my suspicions.* I'm not perfect, but I am not going to value words from someone who does not even have the courage to post their name. Neither should you. And because you will trust someone with no name/no proof, I believe and still believe there is another motive. Again, can you blame me?

Furthermore, I regret to inform you that this girl on the other-side of hill does not find the thought of silicone or even botox appealing. Thanks for the shot below the belt, attacking where I live. I find it absolutely disturbing that IF you are a passerby... you must find pleasure/entertainment in this place. This is depressing. May I remind you, these are people, Pat. Do some research before you speak.

Photographer Defender's are Questionable ..a little too much silicone and it's affecting your judgement

AUTHOR: Pat - (U.S.A.)

To Korine:

You are very dramatic. I am someone who just happened upon the Post. I don't know the Photographer. My comment was to any Reader not to discount the accusations, because your defense of this Photographer are so over the top and full of drama, it made me wonder.

The Non-Disclosed Complainer sought out this venue to complain and took the time to explain her story. But you are basically laying down your life for this Photographer and this sounds shady to me.

I think you've had a little too much silicone and it's affecting your judgement. I am only a passerby in this matter and am only saying, don't discount the Complainer's story. You are defending over the top and that is very weird to me.

Never Met This Guy EVER In My Life

AUTHOR: Korine - (U.S.A.)

Dear Pat-

I have never met this photographer ever in my life! And you should know that.

I was directed to these complaints from a thread on
regarding another person who placed a complaint, Nerlande. I believe you are from the same place.

I felt it was only the right thing to say something about how I feel about this, as this guy has recently been bombarded with QUESTIONABLE complaints. Three of the complaints appear to be written by the same person. Certainly there is something shadey going on here, so don't mind if I do!

But you are well aware of all this, because you came from didn't you?

How could you be as hasteful, if you were just a reader who fell upon this? You are upset because I demanded proof that these instances happened. And nobody had anything to say that proved that this guy did any of the things he is being accused of. I am so sorry I rained on your parade, but this must be just devasting to this photographer and I really wish I never saw ANY of this... because I feel really bad for him and I just don't need this kind of energy in my life.

I don't believe he did any of this! And I don't have to know him to know that. Nor do I have to meet him or atleast talk to him. Its very much THAT obvious! If it was hazy at first, thank you for your posting.... for sure he looks like he has a stalker now!

And I believe that person is YOU! Whoever you are.

Why don't you leave him alone? Do you have to have his attention in a negative way, because he's not willing to give you anymore... so you come on a site like this... try to make trouble for him so again he has to deal with you? Torture him with tramatic stories, that I don't believe ever happened, just to maybe get back at him?

I don't know what your story is but I suggest you just leave the poor guy alone. And please, get the help you need. has all MY real information. But surely I don't think they have yours.

And I don't think my boyfriend will be very amused to see you calling me this photographer's girlfriend. But I'm sure you knew that too. If you are a real ace, email him and tell him all your crazy stories too. He loves a good drama!

You know where to find me.

Don't discount the Complainer's Post. Perhaps the Photographer should rethink his actions.

AUTHOR: Pat - (U.S.A.)

The two Respondents to the Complainer's post are the Photographer and possibly his girlfriend. I don't believe anyone would make claims like this without provocation and the Anonymous Complainer should be taken seriously.

Perhaps the Photographer should rethink his actions. They sound sleazy to me and I do believe the person who is complaining.

#6 REBUTTAL Individual responds

This has got to be a joke anyone who has ever worked with me knows that I do not get upset easily

AUTHOR: Eric - (U.S.A.)

This has got to be a joke.

Why is it that you have nothing better to do than write lies about people on the internet? These ridiculous posts about me are really getting out of control.

First of all, anyone who has ever worked with me knows that I do not get upset easily. I am a very calm, gentle and rational person. I have never yelled at a model or done anything else to make one feel unsafe. I care about the feelings of others. I have also never "insisted" that someone take their clothes off. That is just silly. Any photographer knows that if the model is uncomfortable or unhappy (clothed or not) that the shots are going to be terrible, and it is a waste of time to shoot.

This entire "report" is such a joke. I doubt I ever actually met the person who wrote it. The funniest thing is that it is not even "reporting" anything other than if the person actually did meet me, that they are paranoid, delusional and emotionally unstable with a wild imagination.

Maybe next time you can write that you saw parts of models in my freezer? Or maybe that I have bloodthirsty pit-bulls that would eat you if you didn't get naked, but instead you fought them off with your light-saber? That has a good dramatic feel to it! Also, next time you should try to pretend being from an agency that people have actually heard of. You are a non-professional model with an agent? how is that possible?

I should remind anyone reading this that on this site (ripoffreport), you can write any crazy thing you want about anyone without ANY proof, or even revealing your identity. It is the perfect way to get back at an ex- or to try and ruin a business competitor.

I obviously have the equivalent of a cyber-stalker who is trying to do anything they can to damage my good name. Fortunately, the actual professionals I work with in the industry are not likely to believe this craziness and love working with me.

Thanks for reading!

#7 Consumer Suggestion

What is your complaint? Is this paranoia?

AUTHOR: Korine - (U.S.A.)

Making noises. Acting funny. Is this paranoia?

So the photographer let you keep your clothes on. If you had researched his work you'd find that most of his work is indeed bare chested. But you weren't comfortable with that. Alright. He kept shooting you with your clothes on.

I don't understand what the problem is.

Photographers, if shooting one on one, do help adjust clothing as they have a better view of how the clothes are photographing. If you have a problem with people adjusting your clothes for you, probably a good idea to not get into modeling... as many people touch you all day long. Doesn't mean they are touching you just to touch you... they have a job to do. I don't believe the phrase "personal space" applies to a career in modeling, in all honesty.

There are all kinds of different personalities you will have to work with. Some you may not like. But this is a job and not a personality contest. Sounds to me you are either hypersensitive or paranoid. Which one is it?

Walking out on a shoot, yes photographers do get upset about that. Its super disrespectful. Best way to avoid this is to study the photographer's work before setting up a shoot. If you are comfortable with what they shoot, then go for it. If you are concerned about anything they shoot, that you aren't open to (ex nudity) discuss with the photographer before setting up a shoot.
