Superior Court of Concord. Case number CSC09-1099
Steve LeFlar DBA North Bay Entertainment (later changed names to "Star Sounds Productions", then changed again to "Simply The Best Entertainment") found guilty of non payment of the live band, "Big City Revue" at the Intercontinental Hotel. Booking was made by Eric Symons, working with LeFlar. Contract signed by LeFlar.
Total judgement - $5200.00 awarded to Associated Entertainment (AE hired Big City Revue) Judgement entered on February 10, 2010.
Although still working under the names "Simply The Best Entertainment" and "STB DJs", in the Sacramento and Napa areas, LeFlar has not paid this debt.

Steve LeFlar again found guilty of non payment of the live band, "Six and The City" at the Adeszko Wedding at Auberge Du Soleil. Booking was made by Eric Symons, working with LeFlar. Contract signed by LeFlar.
Total judgement - $3600.00 awarded to Associated Entertainment (AE hired "Six and The City") Judgement entered on February 8, 2010.
Although still working under the names "Simply The Best Entertainment" and "STB DJs", in the Sacramento and Napa areas, LeFlar has not paid this debt.

In order to hide his identity, LeFlar inserted his employee, Eric Symons, as the owner of "Simply The Best Entertainment" on paper, and has enterted his girlfriend, Cynthia Gretch, as owner of "STB DJ's" on paper.
The collection agency, George Ballard Company, has been retained to collect this debt. Any information on Steve LeFlar, Eric Symons, or Cynthia Gretch, Star Sounds Productions, Simply The Best Entertainment or STB DJs, that would assist in collection this debt should be forwarded to both the George Ballard Company, (925) 677-0300 ... and Associated Entertainment Consultants (AEC), (650) 348-7972

The lawsuit mentions AEC suing BOTH Steve Leflar and Eric Symons.Further investigation shows Mr Symons has no working relationship with AEC

The contract with AEC for the band "Six in the City" was with North Bay Entertainment. I was an employee of that company working for THomas Schoenberger and Steven Leflar.
I was also performed on that date for the Adezco wedding as a guitarist, and was never paid by North Bay Entertainment. To find out more about that now defunct company, visit www.northbaye.net.
My company works very closely with Associated Entertainment, the plaintiff in the case. This fase accusation is so ridiculous as I also was not paid for this event, and we are looking at an event that took place in 2009. I founded my own company, STB, in June of 2010. Since then I have booked entertainment from Associated Entetainment on a regular basis, and we have a great working relationship.
Since the poster is annonymous, it is obvious that the accusser is probably a competitor trying to take away my market share. It is also ridiculous to say that my former employer is secretly owner of my company.
Just because NBE was sued by AEC means nothing to my business, and I too was not paid for that mentioned date in 2009.
This is internet stalking at its best!
