Lifetime Metal roof installed and had 8 leaks and "repairs" over a 3 year time period - Never repaired correctly. Purchased and paid in full for a lifetime warranty steel roof in February of 2011. Original installation was March of 2011. The first leak was noted on 8/25/11 and then second roof leak 9/19/11. Called the company 11 times to get a crew out a 9/24/11. 10/30/11 leak number 3 called into Erie. 7 calls later crew out to repair (11/5/11). 11/7/11 leak number 4 occurred, called company 4 times - crew sent 11/14/11 to caulk seams. 5/5/12 Leak number 5 repair attempted 5/8/12. 9/8/12 #6 leak in 2 new locations. Called company and picture taken and sent per email to cutomerservice@erieconstruction.net. 9/19/12 crew out to repair again and did water test and will be back to repair roof. 10/16/12 replaced front half of the roof. 6/1/13 leak #7 in bedroom now. Called company again multiple times. Was given Larry Kilby's name and phone number.n On 6/11/13 Crew back to repair again. 4/7/14 new leak in office. Called Larry Kilby and the office to report leak again. We have given this company multiple times to redeem themselves and we have a very expensive leaky roof. We have had leaks in 3 separate areas in the house and have repaired and repainted each time and now will have to replace part of the ceiling in one room due to the damage. The crew changes each time, the foreman or project manager changes frequently, and we continue to have to chase them to get the repairs done. We believe that they are incapable of installing a steel roof that will not leak.

3 men came to the house on 4/14/14, the Installation manager (Chris) and another unnamed man went up in to attic and looked in the attic.  The unknown named man told the Installation Manager that we had a rodent problem and that urine was coming through the ceiling. We were also told that he took pictures of a "big nest" but we have not been furnished a report or pictures.  The Installation manager stated that "it was no longer Erie's responsibilities because the roof was not leaking but the Installation expert (Doug) insisted that they return on 4/16/14 to look further for leaks. We had an independent Pest Control inspection which did not find any evidence of rodents in our attic. The Installation Expert and the Installation manager came back as promised on 4/16/14. The Installation Manager was informed that we had an independent pest control inspection.  The Erie Installation manager arrived just as our independent inspector was wrapping up and was informed that we disputed his claim of rodents. The Installation expert (Doug) was wonderful to work with and found an installation error.  The underlayment was not under the metal flashing and the water was getting underneath and found visible watermarks.  They did check all the valleys on that side of the roof.  3 other valleys were installed correctly.  The crew did the repair that day.  It appears to have stopped the leak thus far. We were not furnished with a copy of anything we signed and do not acknowledge the customer satisfaction certificate. We signed a "work order".
