My husband and I just bought our first home and closed November 30th.  On December 4th, since my husband has a Sears card, we ordered the Modern Dual Reclining Sofa Set Sofa w/Drop Down Console Loveseat Burgundy Bonded Leather Living Room set from the sears website, which uses esofastore as an online marketplace seller.

 

There was some confusion on when we would receive the sofas, but they arrived December 16th, on Friday.  They are in multiple pieces, which was annoying, but that's on us, but when I went to open the boxes, it was completely the wrong sofa.  Ours is leather and burgundy with no pattern.  The one we received is brown cloth with a flower print.  Frankly, it's hideous.

 

It was annoying, but figured it was a mistake and tried to get in contact with the company.  We then contacted Sears who has been trying to get in contact with esofastore to no avail.  The phone goes to a google voicemail that has had no calls returned.  Sears can't get ahold of them.  I posted to their facebook and twitter to see if I could get someone to help me.

 

I have not heard a single word from this company.  My new living room is fully decorated for Christmas and currently unusable with five hundred pounds of boxes and no place to sit.  This ordeal cost nearly 2000 dollars.  We have house guests coming for Christmas, and without resolution, they will see a bunch of boxes in front of a Christmas tree and sit on camp chairs.

 

This is utterly inexcusable.  This would be a big error if they owned it but for now they seem content to ignore me, use my living room as their storage space, and I do not have the items I ordered.  I'm tempted to craigslist the wrong sofa to whoever will haul it away, put a stop payment on the credit card, and order burgundy leather sofas (better than cloth since we just adopted a dog) from someone else, but I'm running out of time before Christmas.


Avoid these sellers at all cost.  They have some nice looking stuff, but I cannot believe that for two thousand dollars, they cannot find anyone to answer a phone or even respond to Sears!  I've also filed a complaint with the BBB.
