I had used my card at an ATM in downtown Minneapolis when my card was sucked into a machine (after only 7-10 seconds).  Of course I was unable to get the card back from the bank who's ATM I was using.  This is completely my fault.  I should have been more attentive.

Upon calling Espree (and navigating through an illogical labyrinth of call queues) to get a timeline on how long it would take to have a duplicate card mailed to me, I was told that it would be seven to 14 business days (before it would even be SENT from Espree!).  This is a week and a half to three weeks before it would even be mailed out, which is completely unacceptable.

I asked the representative if I would be able to have this expedited as I have been banking with them for over two years now and was immediately optimistic upon being told that it can be rush delivered via USPS.  However, I was once again distraught to find that in doing so, they would have to charge me $50 to have it expedited.  As I cannot be completely broke for (possibly) a month, I folded under their pressure and elected to have it expedited.

It is an absolute fact that I will be closing this account as soon as I can get my money out.  Upon referring more than 12 people from the company I work for to this company, it is absolutely preposterous that they have the audacity to charge me $50 to have my card expedited.

The Call Center Supervisor Nici Callahan agreed yesterday to call me back by the end of the day today with a UPS tracking number for which I can track the shipping of my card.  I didn't get a phone call before she left for the day.  Also, upon speaking with a representative today (the one, ironically that didn't file the request in the first place), I was told that she was unable to obtain the tracking number.
