We ordered a vise and pedestal from EToolClub.  We spent over $600.  Their website and the invoice both state the vise fits the pedestal.  The American manufacturer, we later discovered, disagrees, and we disagree; the vise does not fit the pedestal.  We sent EToolClub.com notated copies of the invoice and prior e-mails, with a picture showing the vise does not fit.  They still have not responded.


This on-line store does not answer their phone or respond to messages left.  They do not answer our e-mails.


It is our advise people not do busines with this on-line store.  It is clear to us they are disreputable.

eToolClub MIS Group still has not refunded money

The proof of the pudding, as they say:

eTool Club has been in receipt of the subject returned merchandise since 11/30/10.  As of 1/09/10, even after being reported to ripoffreport.com, they have not credited our VISA account.  This leads us to suspect they are "living on the edge" and do not have the funds to make the refund.  They do not answer their phone.  Try the number and find out for yourself.  If someone does happen to answer, it it because of this report.

They also stretch the truth, to be kind, such as having stated they "checked the specifications."  Their own specifications maybe, not the manufacturer's.  And their problems dealing with the manufacturer as a middle man are not the customer's problem.

Their rebuttal shows e-mails they claim were sent, but the the final e-mail was sent only after numerous phone calls and e-mails went unanswered and after they were sent notice of the report to ripoffreport.com.

Rebuttal is not founded in fact but in exaggeration

EToolClub did not respond to my phone calls and e-mails until 11/18/10, after I informed them I had filed a rip-off report 11/17/10.   I then responded to EToolClub in the following manner 11/18/10:

 

Miss Aviles (EToolClub employee),

 

We have received your reply.

 

We first contacted you in this matter 11/10/10.  It took much too long for return authorization.  It is not good that EToolClub does not answer the telephone.  It is not good they don't answer e-mails in a timely fashion.  This situation was not of our making but owing to a mistake on the EToolClub website.  The bottom line is the responsibility lies at the doorstep of EToolClub not Wilton, the manufacturer, or its parent company.  Wilton does not make the claim that pedestal fits the vise I bought; I have a copy of their catalog now that shows what it does fit.

 

We were disappointed the item was not as advertised.  And one does not spend the time to modify an item when they pay over $300 for it.

 

I have spent much valuable time attempting to rectify this problem, and it is not over yet; you still have our money for the pedestal and shipping of the pedestal.
