We purchased pup after speaking to Dawn Marie several times. We sent our credit info via fax on 12/3/07. The next day we were informed that our credit card number had been stolen and sold to someone. There were several charges already made from Florida. We followed through and immediately contacted Dawn Marie. She told us that it was Michelle's son, a co-owner of The BullDog Exchange. We filed a report with the Palm Beach Sheriff's Department. The case number is 07-151649. Michelle did contact us with what seemed to be a very sad sincere story about her son. We decided to continue with the purchase of the puppy based on the story, and that the police were involved with the theft.

The pup was promised to be delivered on Dec 19, 2007 by Dawn Marie. We made the appropriate arrangements to be prepared for his arrival. They told us that they would call us with his flight itinerary. This didn't occur until we made attempts to contact Dawn Marie. She then told us the pup wouldn't arrive until the 20th. The morning of the 20th, we checked with Continental to verifly the delivery, and found that they didn't have him scheduled until the 21st. Another attempt to reach Dawn Marie and she said the airline was wrong. She would call us back just in case. Turned out they had not sent the pup after all.

He did finally arrive on the 21st. On the afternoon of Dec 25th, he became so ill w/vomiting and diarrhea, that we took him to the emergency room. He was admitted, and the following morning I made the first attempt at trying to contact Dawn Marie. I then called the website phone number, called Dawn Marie three more times. I didn't receive a phone call until 11pm from Dawn Marie. She told me that none of the other pups were sick. She never asked me if ours was going to be ok and his expected prognosis.

I contacted the Animal Clinic of West Lake Worth where our pup was seen before his transport. I told Shawna of our situation, could she provide us with any info that may help aid in the recovery of our pup as we didn't receive any information from Evan or Dawn Marie. Shawna told me that two other pups from our litter had tested positive for coccidia. She also expressed concern that our breeder hadn't contacted us regarding this. I immediately contacted our vet, who told us that our pup is much too sick to have just coccidia.

This is Dec 28th, our vet told us that our pup testing is showing all signs of parvo virus. Testing will continue, and he is expected to be hospitalized for several more days if he indeed survives.

To date we have spent over $3000 and our vet told us that we should expect another $4000 in fees if our pup can survive.

Still had not heard from Evan until we were able to find his home phone on this website. We surprised him at 7:30 this am. He initially told me that he had not heard of any of this and then decided that he did know of our problems. He told us that our pup does not have parvo, and that he has coccidia. Interesting that he could diagnose this over the phone without seeing any of the reports from any of the vets.

This is obviously very emotionally and financially draining. There can be no excuse for such obvious blatant disregard to our repeated attempts at trying to get as much pertinent information as possible that could help our pup get well.
