On March 3, 2008, I purchased three front row tickets to see the Wicked performance at the Kansas City Music Hall on May 22. My credit card was immediately charged, and ticketsmyway.com sent an email confirmation of my order with a guarantee that the tickets would be FedEx'd prior to the performance. On May 14, one week prior to the May 22 performance, I received a voice mail message to call ticketsmyway.com regarding my ticket purchase. After calling multiple times and waiting on hold for 15 - 20 minutes each time (and leaving multiple messages requesting a return phone call), I finally reached a live person (Andrew). He explained that the May 22 performance was sold out and that he would refund my money within 1 - 2 weeks. I explained that I have written confirmation that ticketsmyway.com had purchased tickets on my behalf; had guaranteed delivery before the night of the performance; and I had confirmed my order status on the ticketsmyway.com website that my order had been processed.

I further explained that this was the only birthday present my youngest daughter had requested and that we had motel reservations that could not be cancelled. Andrew indicated that the Terms & Conditions that we agreed to allowed them to refund the money (this is not the case). The Terms & Conditions states that Event Tickets, LLC reserve the right to accept or deny any request to cancel an order. It further states that "There are no refunds, exchanges, or cancellations on any ticket request once it is submitted to us. This is necessary because we have purchased tickets from a third party on your behalf and we are unable return them. You will receive an email immediately after you place your ticket request confirming that we have received it. "

Event Tickets, LLC sells tickets at one price as soon as they become available and then, closer to the actual performance date, attempts to sell the same tickets at excessively higher prices (a sort of E-Bay auction - my tickets purchased at $700 are sold for $1,500 - then they notify me the performance is sold-out and my tickets are no longer available).

I have reported this to the Better Business Bureau of Las Vegas, NV and will continue to find any venue to ensure others do not use the services of this company.
