EVERGREEN CONSTRUCTION - MARK DEWYEA rip-off creep scam fraud posing as a contractor ripping off & defrauding consumers Tupper Lake, Saranac Lake, Lake Placid and surrounding communities in the Adirondacks Upstate New York

Mr. Dewyea ripped off my good friend. My friend would have written this, but they cannot afford a computer, let alone to get ripped off by Mr. Dewyea for over $3,000, until the very helpful people at the rip-off report.com got involved.

Here is my friends' horror story.

My friend responded to an advertisement in the Adirondack Daily Enterprise by Evergreen Construction placed by Mr. Dewyea.

Mr. Dewyea told her everything he thought she should hear, promising all the work would be done on their roof on time before it would be raining again.

My friend gives Mark about half the money down. About one week after he was to start, Mark finally dropped off these young kids who seemed to be nice but did not seem to know what they were doing.

Each time Mark would come by, he was drunk, loud and rude using foul language to his helpers who were obviously inexperienced, desperately trying to get help from Mark who was nasty a belligerent every time.

Then days later after the Job was started, but not finished, Mark demanded the balance of this money.

After paying all the money, that was the end of the work. My friend would constantly call Mr. Mark Dewyea. Mark would never answer his phone until my friend tricked him into answering the phone, posing as a potential customer on his answering machine, Mark finally picked up his phone. Mark then promised my friend to show up and finish the work. Well, you know that never happened.

The roof was leaking; sheet rock, furniture, floors and the carpeting were ruined!

Over a month went by and not a word from Mr. Dewyea, when someone in a local restaurant handed my friend several copies of the Rip-off Report that have been circulating for many months by local businesses in Saranac Lake New York.

My friend contacted me because she knew I was on the Internet and that I was familiar with this web site like most everyone else who owns a computer in Saranac Lake. My friend said she knew the person who started the Rip-off Report, asking me if I could send an e-mail to the web site requesting help. About five days later Mr. Dewyea showed up with his workers at the request of Ed at the Rip-off Report.com. At first it seemed like the job was done, but that was not the case at all. Later that night after Mark left with his crew, the lights around the house would not work. My friend called Mark numerous times to no avail. Then, days later it rained and the leaks were still there, leaking in new spots!

It cost my friend another $1,730 to undo the mess and fix the damage of Mr. Mark Dewyea. She is still waiting till they have enough money to get the electrical fixed.

My friend would like to thank Ed at the Rip-off Report for all he has done for her family. I also know a lot of people in Tupper Lake, many workers at Sunmount Developmental Center and many people in Saranac Lake would like to thank you for your selfless efforts in helping reveal the long time corruption and other bad business practices in our communities.

I understand from my friend there are others who have been victimized by Mr. Dewyea that have contacted the Rip-off Report. You had stated to my friend, because Mark Deweya is doing business, collecting thousands of dollars with the intent to intentionally defraud his customers, most of them Seniors, when Mr. Dewyea takes their money, and in some cases never does one stitch of work on the job at all. You also stated that this is a case that should be prosecuted by the district attorneys office.
