BEWARE ALL REALTORS AND BROKERS IN CANADA! Everold Reid is a SCAMMER AND A THIEF!

Unfortunately it was too late for me and my colleagues. A group of us were ripped off by Everold Reid who is a very deceptive person. Beware of him and his tricks. He goes by Everold Reid, and his wife and partner in crime, Bridgit Reid, is also in it. She is the supposed "designer" in his deceptive scheme. He also goes by two company names, Netlinx Communications and Realtybuz.com, the latter of which is no longer to be found online (it was taken off the server). Also, he changes his phone numbers constantly, and calls from "private" numbers when he has been caught. Most of the phone numbers that he uses are not even Canadian numbers, I believe he uses some USA cell phone numbers.

Like some of the other victims on this site, he worked the same scheme with us. He promised to deliver 3000 presentation folders for use in our daily real estate business. We paid him thousands of dollars and we have been waiting for the folders since August 2011! We are now reaching almost the end of April 2012, and he has not yet delivered anything to us! Every time that we have asked for an update he comes up with an excuse: "the designer got sick," or "the printer is taking too long," or "I'm too busy, I have a lot of work..."  It has been 8 months now and we have decided to put together a GROUP LAWSUIT. We have found out through this website that his fraudulent activities reach all over Canada.

I know I should have done my homework, however, I trusted him because I met him at one of our National Realtor Conferences in Montreal. BEWARE ALL REAL ESTATE SALESPEOPLE, BROKERS OF RECORD, AND BUSINESS PEOPLE IN GENERAL, he is targeting our industry and our community colleagues with this deceptive scheme. Just so you know how he operates: he offers the production of 3000 presentation folders (the kind that we use in Real Estate offices for offers, buyer and listing presentations, etcetera). In order to obtain the advertisers, you provide him with a list of your most trusted business colleagues or community partners, he then goes around and uses your name and reputation to enlist these people on an advertising folder. He collects both small and large sums of money from all the advertisers (including other advertisers that you may never even know about but uses your name and reputation to get money from), and then he delays the process over and over again, with all sorts of excuses. At the end of the day, he NEVER DELIVERS THE FOLDERS!  I'm sure that he has pocketed hundreds of thousands of dollars from this fishy scheme.

My colleagues and I are furious and after knowing that we are NOT the only ones, we have decided to take things to the next level. We have reported him to the Hamilton Police (we found out that he lives in Hamilton, Ontario), and there's an ongoing Fraud investigation in Mississauga and the GTA. In addition to this, a GROUP LAWSUIT is being put together to expose this fraudster and his crimes all over Ontario. However, I am afraid that he operates all over Canada by way of attending real estate conferences across the country. BEWARE all event organizers, beware of Everold Reid and his deceptive business practices!!!
