I was contacted by someone attempting to get me onboard with thier service repeatedly stating "we need a contractor in your area for the services you provide". The fella couldn't get me to sign, so another gets on the phone and gets rude. I end up hanging up on them.

Another guy calls, sweet as pie, and I admit I confused this fella with another company who's services I did plan on signing with. Again, he stated "we have nobody in your area for these leads, if we don't get someone today we are losing customers". I signed up over the phone.

Within 20 minutes I realized I had been duped. I checked their website and there are over 11 other contractors listed under the search in my zip code for the services I offer.

I immediately call back to cancel. The guy tries tricking me into staying on board with it. At this point, I know I was lied to and don't want anything to do with them. So, I just agree to whatever he says and get off the phone.

I then proceed to e-mail thier support department, sales, and any other e-mails on their website and tell them to cease and decist. I will not be joining, don't want their service, nor another phone call from a slimy squirmy salesman.

It is evening time, and I don't expect to hear anything back except an e-mail saying "sorry for the trouble, we will not put the charge through"

Next day I get a call from the salesman I bought into. This call makes no headway with me telling them I am done with their company repeatedly. I end up having to curse the guy top to bottom and hanging up on him.

I figure by now, they have gotten the point that I do not want to do business with them. Up until this point, my credit card had only been authorized, not processed.

I get home that afternoon from working in the field, and the first e-mail to catch my attention is a WELCOME, THANK YOU e-mail from EVERYCONTRACTOR????????????

They had the nerve to put the charge through, even though they have been told repeatedly, starting 20 minutes after their (more than likely, purposely) hard to hear verification department talked to me. I even had to tell them at one point I could not hear them.

OVER, and OVER, as if dealing with a toddler, they were notified by multiple e-mails, and multiple phone discussions that I wanted no part of them.

I made a significant effort to inform these people not to charge me, and even watched the bank account to see whether it was processed yet or not, but alas, they charged me anyway at this point. NO doubt someone has seen the e-mails in every one of their boxes saying not to, and not to contact me by phone again.

I was completely irate and wrote them a nasty e-mail with dirty words in it. There is no sense in civility at this point with these kind of people. Plain and simple.

Next thing to happen, I get a call from the guy that is defending his company on here. The supposed "CEO", but all of the people who have called me seem to have multiple positions such assistant manager, general manager, vice president, etc. He attempts to schmooooooze it all over again, but I'm not having it.

I am told how bad I am for sending curse words in an e-mail, and many attempts are made at belittling me, my business practices, or whatever. Yet, oddly enough, almost like a schizo would act, the guy continues to try and sway my opinion back in his favor.

This tactic is clear in his rebutals.

They use devious strong arm sales tactics, and they are so caught up in it, they can not stop. I would advise you ignore the rebuttals, they are slyly crafted lies.

No matter how many ways I tell this guy I am not dealing with a bunch of liars, he insists it is ME who is confused, and continues trying to keep me on board, which is beyond my ability to fathom.

Only a con artist would act in this fashion. No respectable business would push the issue any further. These guys are after your money and NOTHING more. Watch your wallet.

Anyway, he puts me on hold, and I hang up. I was beyond done with these people. This "CEO" has the nerve to call me back AGAIN, to continue to get his point across about how bad a business man I am, etc. I stated I would deal with them in my own way, and he goes off on a tangent about "are you going to fly down and beat me up with your paint roller?" To which I told him TWICE "no, I will have my bank take the money back".

After listening to him put me, and ALL other contractors down repeatedly, I somehow get him off the phone, and have not heard back since.

The charge was not reversed today, but the bank knows all about their devious practices and will handle it from here.

REFUND WAS ISSUED.

AUTHOR: Director Of Customer Compliance - (U.S.A.)

POSTED: Tuesday, June 03, 2008

In response to the above complaint I would like to start by saying that we absolutely do not tollerate "strong arm" sales tactics. The services that we offer are extremely valuable and do not need to be "forced" upon anyone. If they are opposed to the program then they probably will not be able to abide by the terms and conditions of the service. Mr. **** agreed to the terms and conditions of the program before any billing was processed. The first condition is, "there are no cancellations or full or partial refunds within the 12 month period of your service." Mr. **** agreed to this condition within the contract. We make sure that the terms are outlined and disclosed so that there are no confusions later on. Although the customer agreed to the terms we did in fact issue refund and terminated his service as of 3/8/2007.
