You and your wife both lied to me ... you admit that you lied basing who I am from my advertising via craigslist... so you have basically told me from the first you saw the ad you judged my character and you never had any intent to hold to the promises you gave me in regards to the upkeep of my bird etc.   So you are wrong, whether I advertise on craigslist or where you had no rights to think you were on some rescue mission ... your lies as not only HUMANS, and CHRISTIANS but also store owners and business owners will also catch up to you one day.  And I don't care how many people laugh at me, they would not laugh if they knew the truth and saw what life Nikki had before and what he has now.   And obviously you should be thanking me because according to all this you are gaining customers not losing them.   I've already been informed that Nikki does NOT go to your home at night, his life is at the store, his large cage is kept in a room at the store by himself, and he's put on on display in the mornings at the store.   If this is what you consider a good life for a bird then it only explains your making fun of me and telling me I'm obsessed with my bird, and I'm an animal activist.   Well I'm proud to be obsessed with any animal I own, and I'm proud to be an activist if it means loving and caring for your animal.  And besides one moment you're accusing me of being an animal activist then an abuser. ???   You and your wife have problems and I already see that you want to appear to the world as kind loving people and what better way then to tell your customers you rescued all these poor birds.   You lie, cheat and steal.   You will live with your actions.   There is nothing I can do for Nikki but I will enlighten the world about the life Nikki had prior to living with you.   The picture I have of Nikki from your store is a sad one, no brightness in his eyes at all...   he's in a dark dingy aisle on someones' arm.   I have nothing more to discuss with you and your wife.

IN RESPONSE TO OWNER OF STORE

Excuse me in response to owners reply ... All lies  ....
Nikki was never left alone outside on perch ... I sat outside with my bird and paraplegic dog on a blanket by tree when he was in perch ... Sometimes he even sat in big magnolia tree beside perch. He wore his halter while outside because he has full flight feathers. I attached a retractable lead to Him while outside to give him room to move around ... Nikki would climb up and down perch to forage on ground ... He doesn't like flying and really doesn't know how but halter and lead were very important for his safety ... Anyone who loves bird would care about the birds SAFETY.  Ask anyone at the Golf course and they know how loved and well cared for Nikki was - St Petersburg Country club.  Please see attached pictures of Nikki on his halter,  David the owner accuses me of leaving Nikki on a PVC perch without water..  what a lie.. anyhow the perch  is on the other side of us in the pictures  by a bush, on each side of PVC perch there were placed for two dishes.  I gave Nikki water when he was on perch but didn't leave dishes outside to fill up with water and dirt ... That would be dumb!!!

Nikki loved his time outside!  And never minded the halter on.  To " insinuate " that we left Nikki there without attention and water is David and Naomi's way of trying to look like they rescued Nikki I suppose.   ?????   But most certainly a lie. One has to wonder why people would want to fabricate a lie and what does this say about them in the business world?? The old saying "one is only as good as their word."
It is true My son did not like the bird and he gave the bird no attention when I left on my travels ... that's why I had to place him out because I knew I could not leave bird locked up all these days... But I also know he did not ever abuse bird other than NOT giving him attention.  Nikki HATES being ignored or locked up all day!!!! And he's not happy sitting on a perch all day either!!! Nikki will pluck if locked up more than 3 days .... Anyhow Pictures and videos will speak for themselves on this review as to how well Niki was cared for.... and how Nikki was loved and cared for!! David and Naomi - You just want to tell people you rescued him because it makes you feel good and look good! You didn't rescue him ... You bought him and from a very good home.
I pestered you via text only because you never replied ever to my texts or calls ... Completely from day one ignored me!!!! Sent me a quick video 24 hours later from getting bird home.... 24 hours later ... I was worried about trip because you didn't even bring carrier to transport him back in ... I wanted to know how he faired in his trip!!!! I was very polite to you before and even after I read negative review!!! I have all texts and letters to prove it. I did flip when your wife had the nerve to tell me I could not see Nikki anymore ... That was wrong of you and makes me wonder why plus it was NOT in our agreement ... And it sounds like you David according to your response already told yourselves I wouldn't be allowed to visit him before you even left my property that night .... You had no right to take him then!!

You said you don't breed yet you do.

You said all birds you sell are rescues ... That is not true!

As to the ant infested tree, what a lie, we had moved all his trees outside waiting for you to come that night. The only ants were in his cushion on front porch, and it's Florida. Not infested!  For 900.00 dollars you got two java trees, one very large one, a very nice large cage, all his leashes, toys, etc.  and yet I offered you to give you back your 900.00 dollars and just give me Nikki, keep everything else, that's how much I love my bird and am deeply concerned about his well being now...   I do not see an active vibrant life style him living in your store from day in till day out.    Not lifestyle I envisioned for Nikki, nor was promised by you and your wife.

And as to your hyacinth birds what bird lover would stress a bird out by shipping via plane ... Especially  large older adult birds.

Anyhow Nikki is now in your hands - I personally feel sorry for him because he's not happy just being a manaquin or on display .  I was home everyday with Nikki from 3 pm on and only worked 4 days a week.   How many days is Nikki stuck at the store on a perch or cage?  
And to continue to accuse me of depriving him of a quality life is sad .... It is you and your wife who has robbed this bird of his quality life ... Stuck in a store on a perch from day in till day out .. not at all what you promised me or Nikki

You have crossed the line of ethics and acceptable behvior long before we met you which is why you sold your bird on craigslist. Your actions of intentional malicious cruel intent that you march on with in your ranting and raving about YOUR life with the bird that you sold which you only owned for 6 of his 20 years is not how Christians act if in fact you claim to be one. 

Kathy Sherback,  K.S , Annonomous, or whatever name you hare hiding behind today. You have ruined this birds life, you are making a feble attempt to ruin my buisness and all my customers that are reading your reviews are coming into my store laughing and saddened by your ill state of mind. I have been contacted by people that have never been to the store and sent me an email though stating "We have never been to your store and were looking at the reviews, WOW that Kathy lady is crazy, sorry you had to deal with her, we will be supporting you though".  I pray that you find God.

My Oh my........I too have a copy of all transcripts and so does the local police. We agreed to communication with you via videos on our website and YouTube, Not 400+ word frantic texts starting the next day we took Nikki home. You sent me 12 texts in 2 days that were pages and pages long along with videos and photos. In those texts you mentioned that your husbands son hated your bird and you could not understand why Nikki was plucking. (I have a good idea why). You had told us this same thing when we were picking up Nikki. We told you when we initially called you about Nikki that we owned a bird store. I have 2 vehicles, a 4 door luxury car and a pickup truck with our company plastered all over it for advertising.

I'm sure the readers can figure out which vehicle I used to pick up the bird, A large filthy Macaw cage, 2 ant infested floor perches and various other items. In fact I have video of us picking up Nikki in the truck. The moment you told us that your husbands son hated the bird but you still left the bird with him for 10 days alone and took your dog with you on a trip told us we needed to get that bird out of there ASAP. What sealed your fate on ever seeing Nikki again was when we were all loaded up into my company truck with all the advertising and your husband said hey do you want this?

We looked and in the bushes around your light post about 40 feet from your house was a pvc perch that someone made. Your husband stated you no longer had a need for it. In my amazement and disgust I asked what you used it for and you stated you put Nikki there for the golfers to see because they loved to see him. I asked how did he not run away and as your husband pulled the perch out of the ground he said here take his leash too as you were saying we used this dog leash tied to his harness so he would not run away.

There was no food or water dishes or even a way to affix them to the perch. For Nikki's sake there is a God. We did just open our store and no all the reviews are not from the old owner. In 8 short weeks we have 13 positive reviews and only one bad review other than yours and your friends whom never has been to the store, which is not even a review but more of a plea for us to return Nikki to you which will never happen. One bad review from a young man that apparently reviewed the wrong store as nothing in his review was factual and as you found out when you contacted him, he lives in Gainsville Florida 5 hours away, you know the one because you actually contacted him to see what else he had to say just the second day we had Nikki, Which is why you were shut off from communication and the police were called.

You did not question me on the review, you contacted Michael, the one bad review of the wrong store, and then blasted me with hate texts and emails demanding Nikki back before you ever even asked me about the review. Now interfering with the operations of our business, Either having your friends whom have never been to our store write bad reviews and email me and harass me or it is you in disguise. Here it is over a week later, you are still at it and you even went to Facebook and started to rant only for a Facebook representative to contact us, discuss the situation with us, review your rants, contact you personally and explain that you need to stop before you wind up in trouble and then remove you from the Facebook site you were ranting on along with removing all your rants.

I pray that God finds his way into your heart and mind and heals you. Most sadly I pray for the other animals in your home.  You do work for the transit authority which means you leave Nikki alone all day with a husband that does not like Nikki and a step son that hates Nikki. I own a store, a bird store which means I am with Nikki all day.  The readers of this will make their own assessment. Your continued path of Character assassination and interruption of our business is going to backfire on you as it always does on folks with ill intentions, I suggest you govern your actions accordingly.

I have responded to this review several times now and every time I respond she changes the review which wipes out my response. I will not continue to carry out this chaos on this forum. If I did not have to keep responding to your ranting, your people coming to the store harassing me, Emailing and harassing me, texting and harassing me I could be doing other things like ........... playing with Nikki? You love this bird so much but even now that he is gone from your care you continue to deprive him of a quality life. God Bless you
