Seems like Evia strikes again..... Our story all starts on July 28,2008. We purchased a vehicle from Mike the Salesman at Evia. Before we even got home (a 7min. drive), the Blazer blew up on the side of the road in front of Amiee's Dinner and a Movie. As we waited a couple of hours on the side of the road for Evia to come get us, I had an awful gut feeling. I should have never gone against that gut feeling. Truth be told, never go against your gut feeling. When we finally got back to Evia, Mike told us that he was so sorry about that and we were offered another vehicle. That is where we went wrong.... Mike promised us that this vehicle was much better than the first one, this was a 2001 Windstar. Mike was talking to us like Evia was doing us such a favor because they were going to lower the cost of the new van to keep our payments the same from the first one that blew up, wrong! We had the same type of service as the man from Glens Falls that got ripped off in April. We sat and listened to Mikes' lies come out of his mouth. They also padded the price of the van and they indeed told us that we had to purchase the warranty also. We told Mike of a few problems that we wanted fixed at time of purchase, he informed me that would not be an issue. He told me to call Gene their service manager at the time the following day, and set up an appointment for service. Then this story does a DOWNWARD SPIRAL. I was told that Evia will not service a car before the Wynn's warranty kicks in. Does anyone realize that this is the scam? Of course they wont service before, then you would realize that when that Wynn's warranty kicks in, it's to late! Now they have you. It's the 31st day of your ownership. Now your stuck. As in our situtation. All the rigging they did, started falling apart. It has now been 4 months since we owned the vehicle and about 5 check engine lights and countless amounts of money paid to Evia and Credit Acceptance, and you guessed it, the van is still not running properly and guess what, the check engine light is still on. I am so fed up with trying to talk to the people at Evia. You should never believe not even one word that comes out of there mouths. They are the biggest scam artists ever known. Feel free to contact me to hear more about this story. Really too much to write. billyb7811@yahoo.com Maybe we can gather all these complaints and finally once and for all do something to Evia for treating hard working honest people this way and maybe give them a dose of there own medicine. What do you say????
